Hello!

We will be travelling on the Celebrity Infinity later this month.  Our cruise ends in Civitavecchia, and we have a 3:00 flight out of FCO.  We are looking into booking a transfer from the ship and wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a company that could also provide a tour of some sort.  We  have been to the Colosseum and Vatican but are hoping there's another stop that would fit within our time frame.  Any suggestions?

My daughter and I will be cruising in July stopping in both Livorno and Genoa. We are interested in visiting Cinque Terre and wondering if anyone has insight on which port would be best to do this from. While we have read that it is possible to do a self guided visit, we plan on using a driver/guide.

We would appreciate any thoughts anyone has.

In our two trips to Naples we went to the Amalfi Coast both times. First time by water and the second by land. I would say if you are going to Cinque Terre, try the water trip as it is a different perspective. Here are links to pictures from each:

We will be cruising on the Royal Princess in July and very interested in visiting Cinque Terre. We will be docked for a day in Genoa and then in Livorno.

Princess offers an excursion from both ports, but we are looking for alternatives -- ideally one with a small group.

We have found a few private tours, but they are rather pricey and don't meet us at the port. Does anyone have any tour recommendations or thoughts on if this would be easier from Livorno or Genoa?

Hi, Would love to hear if anyone has any advice on doing HonFleur on your own. We have been to Normandy and now looking for a leisurely day, cafe hopping and experiencing a taste of France.

Are there taxis available from Le Havre and what is the approximate cost? We are not interested in renting a car.

Does anyone know of any food walking tours or restaurant suggestions?

My wife and I will be visiting Le Havre for only one day (June 13, 2015). We visited this port last year and took the ship's excursion to Normandy. This trip we would like to visit Paris. We have a private excursion set up for us in Paris. What is the best way to get to Paris from the cruise port and back again later the same day? Taxi? Car Service? Train?

All help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a taxi to Taormina from Messina without prebooking. Also, approximately what is the cost and is it a set fee for all taxis.

We will be traveling on Celebrity Reflection with stops in Sicily and Naples. Has anyone done either a walking food tour or cooking class in either port?

We realize the weather will dictate the attire at each port. However how about on board....is cruise wear appropriate.
