Was wondering about Club Class Dining and which dining room is it in on the Golden Princess? Has anyone dined there and is it the same dress code as other dining areas?

AJ Clarke on the Crown til 18 March 2018

He’s been on the Crown Princess since the 18 November, 2017 finishing on the 18th March, 2018.

AJ Clarke - the best Piano entertainer I’ve seen on a Princess ship. Should have a larger venue but, get there early.

Do they have Happy Hour - BOGO for $1 on the Golden for Australian Cruises?
-
We cruised from Auckland to Sydney in March this year on the Diamond Princess. My husband purchased the AIBP on board for $59.00 per day and was billed accordingly. He was never charged for anything extra on his account relating to drinks. Gratuities are included in the price of Australian cruises. So the true cost is $59 per day, $7 per day for the Soda and More Package and $36 for the Coffee Card. We will be sailing again on the Golden Princess with you on 4 December and will offer to buy you a drink if things have changed. The cost for 13 days will be $767 for the AIBP and $91 for the Soda and More Package. Cheers🍸🍷🍺🍾🍶

Thanks. We are on the 13 day cruise Melbourne to Melbourne via New Zealand. Was also wondering what the Princess transfers are like as we normally take taxis, shuttles, trains etc. Do you have to wait longer, can you nominate the last transfer off the ship etc. Cheers. :)

Hi was just wondering if anyone can tell me which shuttles are best for 3 people and 4 bags from Melbourne Domestic terminal to the Cruise Terminal and return. (Not the bus and the tram). We are on the Golden Princess leaving on the 4th December 2016 off to New Zealand. We fly in at 8.30 am and aren't sure that if we use the Princess transfers whether we have to wait too long at the airport or if they can pick us up around 9.00. We can drop off our bags and go for coffee. Also for the return trip we would like to have breakfast first and not rush and leave at about 9.30ish to go to the airport. Just checking out our options. Thanks guys.

Have a query, do they still have buckets of beer (5 for 4 price) on the Diamond Princess when it sails in Australia/New Zealand anymore? If so, any idea how much and which beers? Can they be unopened to take back to your balcony? Thanks. :)

Thanks for the replies. So the speciality restuarants are $25 Australian, just to clarify, that's good. Was wondering about the drinks package but the cruise is for 14 days, I don't know whether I could maintain drinking for that many days and we also have plenty of port days :p:):)

I was just wondering if anyone has the drinks prices (individual) and the speciality restaurants on the Diamond Princess in Australian dollars when cruising Australia and New Zealand please. Thanks :)

If you leave the OPT and take the train to the airport can you get a once off ticket there and how much is it? I think I read it is a ten minute walk and a twenty minute ride to the airport. Is that right? Thanks.:)

Hi, was just wondering has anyone used the princess shuttle from the ship (Overseas Passenger Terminal at Syndey Cove) to the domestic terminal in Sydney. Any ideas how much per person, is it too early (as in one of the first groups to disembark) and would it be cheaper to arrange yourself? I was thinking about a private shuttle or a taxi, there are two of us. The plane doesn't leave til 12.30pm and we don't really want to rush breakfast. Thanks.

Can you buy it at the airport and take it with you to the cruise. Then hand it in on embarkation to be collected at the end of the cruise on the last day when you arrive back in Australia? Just wondering as well.
Crown Grill is the dessert sampler still an option?

I was wondering if you can order/pay just to have desserts in the Crown Grill. Or another option, if you have Club Class Dining can you order them there, particularly the Obsession Dessert. Yummo.
