We just stayed there on Dec 29th before our cruise.. nice hotel, clean and a good breakfast.. You can walk to the people mover from there and go downtown to Bayside . Also there is a grocery story and pharmacy very close. There were 2 of us both female and we did walk at night without any problems

Thanks for the great responses, unfortunately all of these places are booked for Nov 2-4th. So I will keep searching.
We are staying at the
La Quinta Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport
2620 N 26th Ave Hollywood FL 33020 USthat same weekend for a Royal most of the hotels are sold out that weekend there is a big Boat show... It looks like it is close to a shopping center and they have local shuttle

I have been to the original iconic one a bunch of times and I did go to the one on the South Shore near Horseshoe once. The original Swizzle Inn at Bailey's Bay is the one to do. The second, more recent one the south shore does not have the cachet or history and there is not much reason to go there in my opinion.
Thank you for all the information I appreciate it ! I was reading about the original one..looks really nice

Swizzle Inn " South " is almost walkable.
#7 pink bus work's. or taxi
Thank you !

Ok so I don't know much about wine. :( Hoping to remedy that on our cruise. We are booked for the first night and planned on getting the free bottle of wine. People have said it isn't that good though. Can y'all please recommend a nice red wine to buy? I prefer sweet wines which is why I have never been able to stomach white wine. Thank you
I love the Moscato on the ship ! My drink of choice for most of the cruise :)
-
I used it and had no problems with it pretty fast 95 percent of the time .... once in a while it was a little slow but no problems I did the social media one .... so basically used the facebook message and I also did upload a few videos

Oh I will. Normally I don't do reviews on the solo cruises that I do on the rust buckets but this one deserves it and it will be the second voyage after re-positioning. I'm not much into posting pictures but I will try.
Rusty
Looking forward to your review also I will be doing that run on May 15th :) First time on the Fascination for me

I'm on this same cruise! I've been wondering about the elegant nights as well - I even called carnival about 5 times to ask and they had no idea. Thanks so much for posting. Anyone bringing little kids with them?
Here is the link to the roll call for this cruise there are a bunch of people bringing kids, they are also having a kids meet and greet
-
We are likely on the same cruise. Leaving the 15th? I've cruised Pride six times before this and am happy to have been able to take advantage of an 8 day. I was thinking that the Elegant nights would be #2 and #7 as you said. We're probably right. Looking forward to this cruise. See you onboard.
