  1. OP, news been posted 3 days ago both here and on CC's Bermuda forum - are you or someone you know currently onboard the BA; and, just found out about it ? One passenger on the BA posted that those onboard had no idea about the accident, unless someone happened to witnessed it and/or read the local new on Royal Gazette (which also mentioned that there're 4,300 pax on this particular sailing ... and, that's a "low" number on a typical summer cruise out of NYC. It's usually closer to 4,700 to 4,900 or even more.)

One of the crew member had been flown to the U.S. for medical treatment while the other 2 had been discharged from the hospital back to the ship.

Did not see that original thread.

  2. You were bullied by ncl plain and simple.

They harassed you just enough to get your dad to blow his top and it worked and he dropped any further steps to get his card back. Which is what they wanted him to do in the first place

However if you confronted them with why they did this...they will say we just wanted to make sure you didn't misplace it or give it to another family member thus the reason they searched your moms stuff It was easier for them to send 2 crew members to harass you than to search 1000's of towels By doing what they did their defense is....well we started looking for it but the pax told us to stop

Ncl is very obvious with their actions and we all know everything they do has an ulterior motive.

If what you state is the entire story then the people running that ship are disgusting and obviously have had accusations levied against them and are very good at what they do to cover their arse

Btw I'm only saying ...the entire story...because too many times the real story comes out after several posts. Not saying you are doing that just saying many others do not seem to divulge the entire story

  3. Its really pretty simple and I can not believe NCL hasn't installed any yet. Water fountains for filling water bottles. We have one in our production plant, my gym has one, I have even seen them at a Mall near me. They even have them at my sons college.

Great idea.. I'm sure they will get right on it.[emoji848]

  4. It's per delivery, you can order all you want for a flat rate. However, some items are an up charge. If you wanted a slice of pie and an iced tea $7.95 if you ordered for 4 people and get 3 trays of food $7.95.

The food was fine. Not great, but it serves it's purpose. We found every order to be correct and delivered in promptly with a smile.

  5. Really? Wow!

I know that Harmony is the same class as Oasis and Allure even though Harmony is a bit larger than the first 2 sisters. There are also orders for more Oasis class ships.

I wonder if Oasis 4 or 5 will be an inch longer/wider than Harmony ("...new largest cruise ship in the WORLD!!!...) or if RCCL really has something significantly larger in the works.

Here is the link to the USA Today article that alludes to larger ships.

  6. I love a punk who hides behind a keyboard "judging".... if you read my post you would have seen I said "I'd be interested in knowing"..... not quoting as if I knew...... I live in a state that passed very strict drone laws, prior to Christmas, so it was fresh on my mind and peaked my interest when I saw this video. It ironically was the same day NCL stated security concerns when banning water bottles. I was on GSC in March when a member of the ship's officer staff approached a gentleman who was flying a drone and told him to ground it.... so I know NCL frowns upon them.

Love those trolls with nothing interesting to contribute but judge....

I hit a nerve with you. Oh boy! Your words My,My,My

Of course I'm hiding behind a keyboard. Your logic is flawed, how else are we supposed to communicate on a message board?

If you want to debate me. I'm sure we can set that up...

  7. Interesting that NCL changes a policy concerning "bringing bottled water on board" and citing security concerns however allows the UAS to take off \ land on her ships?!?

The Escape is still in Florida water so I am interested in knowing if NCL can be held liable for violating the state's “Freedom from Unwarranted Surveillance Act.”

It's always amusing to me when some thinks they know the law. Simply because they googled somethings and then regurgitate it as if they are all knowing.

It's like having a symptom of an illness, looking it up on webMD AND CONVINCE THEMSELVES THAT THEY HAVE THAT ILLNESS. Bottom line, taking things out of context without the background to quantify, always makes me laugh.

  8. I just do not understand NCL thinking....!

How can a "ultimate beverage package"....NCL named it....NOT include bottled water....expresso/ Lattes at a $ value like $78 a day

Then it Not be part of the kids "soda package" program.....? Children should just drink fountain soda for a week in the heat, sun etc.

Now as of July 15th you can not even bring your own now on board....But you can buy a case of liters for $70! Yikes

This is extremely unhealthy and dangerous....the medical staff better get ready for Many more patients....Passengers will think they can just keep drinking alcohol....and become so dehydrated they pass out all over the ship....

I have been on about 57 cruises and counting and thought we would come back to NCL again but after paying the price we did...then add the tips.... then this nonsense I feel we are heading back to a couple other cruise lines......

I look to enjoy a vacation which we will I'm sure but these issues are causing some of the fun and excitement to be taking over with frustration.

Just my 2 cents on the subject....Bon Voyage....!

Totally disagree with you post. People need to have self control to avoid dehydration. However, water is available all over the ship for free. In the buffet, at any bar, restaurants or stateroom. You can still bring a sports bottle and keep it filled. So I really don't understand why its a detriment to the passengers?

  9. Huh? The Jones Act is the "Merchant Marine Act of 1920". Bit before Pearl Harbor. Perhaps you are thinking of the "Merchant Marine Act of 1936", which was instituted by Roosevelt to bolster our merchant marine for the upcoming war, but again, bit before Pearl.

Yes, I know that. I'm fairly up on my maritime history.

Click on the link below. Perhaps you may get a chuckle out of it.

  10. WOW, where in the world did you (OP) plagiarize that from? Your post was about as insightful as "caution: contents may be hot" stating the obvious, and repackaging, or in your case regurgitating someone else's thoughts...

You talk about spirits air's approach to selling seats. When they are consistently the bottom feeders of the airline industry. Some business model to follow.

I would have enjoyed your original perspective, on what should have an original post with a provocative spin.

BTW, how many other screen names do you have? It's quite a first posting.
