  1. Breakfast is served in the MDR every day.

Lunch is served in the MDR on sea days.

This is due to the fact that most passengers are ashore on port days.

The specialty restaurant lunch is not every day but once per cruise.

    Thank you Tommy D3,

I was concerned there would be no lunch in the MDR on sea days. Thanks for setting that straight.

  2. Was on Celebrity Constellation last spring break and really enjoyed the meals in the main dinning room. Felt no need to pay extra for specialty dinning. Main dinning offers breakfast and dinner but not lunch. Does not answer your direct question but hopefully it is helpful all the same. Enjoy your cruise, we did.

Hi, we have never sailed with Celebrity before and I am very surprised that they do not serve lunch in the main dining room. I must say I am not happy about that. Princess does.

  3. Hi everyone. I have enjoyed hearing all your comments. We have the classic drinks package & will now wait a few days into our cruise before we upgrade, if necessary. We probably couldn't tell which grade alcohol was in our margaritas anyway. As long as we enjoy it.

  4. I'm with you mds143. We don't want the movies on every night but on one or two nights it's relaxing to change after dressing up for dinner into casual clothes & lounge on a deck chair watching a movie. Princess crew come around with popcorn & you can have ice cream & pizza if you like. A very nice relaxing evening. Hope P & O give it some thought for future cruises. Maybe before June next year :)

  5. Hi forum community. I have been thoroughly enjoying many comments posted in these forums & appreciate all helpful hints. We are cruising on the Britannia in June next year and are keen to find out info from anyone about a cabin they either loved or hated. We are deciding between a balcony with sofa and without. Plus unsure which is the best deck regarding noise from public areas. We usually like an upper deck as we prefer to take the stairs to outside areas such as pool etc. but is Deck 15 too noisy.

    Thanks

  6. Hi Chubby Cruisers we are going on the same cruise. This is our 7th cruise but our 1st with P&O UK. We are a little unsure as we are loyal Princess cruisers and have heard a few negative points about Britannia but this has the ports we want to visit. P&O Australia is not so good so we are hoping for much better with such a new ship.

  7. Hi, any-one who has sailed on the Britannia can you let me know if you think it up to the same standards as Princess Cruise line. We are comparing a cruise in June/July next year between Britannia & Emerald Princess. Destinations are similar enough but which is the better ship to chose?
