  1. There are lots of places for drinks, servers also walk around taking drink orders. There will be two large food stations (possibly 3). This is all brought from the ship(s) and then cooked on shore (huge outdoor bbq).

If you walk off the ship to the entrance keep going straight, jump on the train or keep walking all the way to the end. You will see the floating bar out in the water underneath the zip line. There are plenty of chairs here that are free. It is also close to a couple of bars and one of the food stations and also a washroom.

one of our favorite stops, enjoy!!

  2. We placed our towel, and sat, right under a palm tree. It was the perfect amount of shade. We also arrived at 9am, it was empty, left at noon and there were still LOTS of chairs and umbrellas available.

No water toys available here. I did see a lady bring a floaty with her. (Great idea).

  3. Hello everyone,

we visited this beach on the 23rd and it was beautiful! we also snorkeled while there and also placed our towels on the sand. i did ask how much the chairs were and someone mentioned $7 per chair. we were there to swim and snorkel so no chair was needed. we saw lots of fish to the left by the hill. my husband also saw a bright green Eel. (glad i missed it).

we took a cab there a back to crown bay and it was $4 pp/ew.

  4. You can always ask for a bucket with ice. They will give you this even if you didn't order the 4-6 beer special. We have done this in the past and then ordered a couple/few beers, shoved them in the ice bucket and BAM cold beer for a little while. (this was with a classic drink package.... go up with both cards, order two beers, turn around hand them off and order 2 more, repeat.) :)

  5. They do have MillerLite in bottles. And we've never had a hard time with a time limit. My husband has order two (one on my card and one on his) turned around passed the beers to me and turned back around and ordered two more. We've also been fine asking for unopened for our balcony.

  6. You can get any daiquiri on the classic package. peach and mango are both amazing! does anyone know if you can get a "standard" class of wine on the classic package? every time at dinner in the MDR they always hand out the wine list but these are usually bottle prices or over the classic package price.

  7. We are new to celebrity (cruised with princess 3 times) and we board the Reflection on Saturday. In the past on princess ships we would just use our cruise card at a table and pull money off there at no additional charge nor were the chips "funny money". Is this not how it works on celebrity? Should I be bringing cash to play at the casino?

We typically keep our chips till the end of the cruise and cash out then by either taking the cash or paying off our account.

We also received $300 OBC for this cruise, will this not just be used to cover what you have on your account regardless if its for gratuities or from the casino?

  8. We did a 5 day the first week of March, in 2014, and it was Florida March break then. We didn't realize till we were at the pool with A LOT of college students that were beyond drunk.... they ended up puking in the pool. The pool was closed for the rest of the day and night.

Most of them were under 21 and snuck booze on the boat or got very drunk at each port. (so drunk they were wheeling them on the boat in wheel chairs)

We also had the Carolina Panthers on the boat with us that week, they were a little more rowdy in the casino at night.

These items all made for GREAT conversation at the pool, bar or diner. lol

Other then those couple things we had an amazing cruise!!

And we did the anytime dining (usually ate around 730) which had little to no students or kids. i think a lot of students eat at the buffet or they're possibly passed out by then.

You will enjoy the getaway regardless!

  10. I use the wrist bands when feeling any sort of sea sickness coming on. We had rough seas in Alaska, in 2010, and was never sea sick with the bands on.

We are also traveling out of LA in February, like Colo Cruiser mentioned, join your roll call as there's always great info on there.

    Enjoy your trip! :)

  11. Has anyone gone to the Marietas Ilands when stopping at Puerto Vallarta, day at port? we are supposed to be in port from 10am to 6 pm and are very interested in going to the Hidden Beach located on the Island but not sure who to book through or timing on it.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be great!

  12. We stopped in Cozumel two years ago and jumped off the boat and rented a scooter. $60 for the entire day. we drove the entire island, stopped at the runes and a few spots along the ocean, and then stopped at a hut or two for $1 beers. i would recommend this to anyone! great time. You will enjoy the island no matter what you decide on.
