  1. Looks like lots of choices and a variety of prices. Still haven’t made up my mind. Would like to splurge on the Pan Pacific but we get there at midnight and hotel about 130am. Cruising in morning. Won’t really get much time to truly appreciate the hotel. Might be better just get something to put my head down  just for sleep.

  2. Thanks very much everyone for wonderful feedback. You all make absolute sense. Now it’s down to personal choice I guess. I like the idea of staying at the Pan Pacific but arriving so late I don’t think we would get enough time to appreciate it really. Have to speak to the lovely wife and get her input. Thanks again evwryone

  3. Hello everyone

We are cruising out of Vancouver on October 10 on Norwegian.  We will be flying in night before arriving around 1145pm. Does anyone know of a hotel that provides both shuttle service from the airport and then shuttle service to the cruise port in the morning. I only need it on the departure as the cruise is repositioning to Los Angeles. If no hotel does that then would it be better to get taxi to cruise port hotels then shuttle in morning or get shuttle from airport to hotel close by then taxi in the morning to the port. Ideally the hotel would have both shuttles.

  4. Hello everyone

We are going on the Jewel in January and my Father loves Chinese food. I know Chin Chin is one of the free restaurants with a few items at charge. Does anyone have the menu for the restaurant ? Does the menu change daily or stay the same ?

  5. Thanks to all who responded. I ended up booking Larrys limos one way from airport to port. It's a very good deal at $70 plus gratuity 20% and $3 airport pick up fee. Total $87. On the return it would be $102 because there is a $15 port pickup fee. I did not book the return. Instead I booked the Royal Caribean transfer for $60 total. I thought it might be a good idea to get the trip off to a great start by paying a little more for a limo.

  6. We arrive on AA and will be able to go in to Admirals club and have coffee and a bite to eat. My dad is 82 and is less inclined to do any tours and I have been to Fort Lauderdale several times. We plan on going to the port around 930 or 10. From feedback on here and research we won't have a problem getting shuttles around that time. My only concerns is the reliability of them. A price of $17 is almost half of any other service. Hence my asking of any experiences anyone has with them. Super shuttle is also an option but I have never used them either. I value all responses and any to come. Thanks ever so much

  7. Has anyone had recent experiences on shuttles from Miami airport to Fort Lauderdale cruise port. We leave on Independence of the seas on Oct 4th and our flight arrives at 6am. Looking for a reliable and recommended shuttle service. We don't want to wait at the airport for RCL shuttle because it does not start until 1030 which means hanging around for 4 hours. There will be my Father who is in his 80's and myself. We arrive on American Airlines. Also how long does shuttle take approx? I know of several shuttles from the internet but would like to hear from someone who used them recently.

  8. Hello everyone

My father and I are going on independence of the seas out of Fort Lauderdale next week. I have a few questions if anyone can help. What time is check in and boarding? As diamond members is there priority check in and boarding ? We are in a junior Suite so does that have priority check in and boarding? My father is the diamond member but he is 82 and cannot remember his past experiences hence the reason I am asking this info. We arrive in Miami at 550am and are trying to decide best time to take a shuttle as we don't want to be waiting around at port too long. We can wait at airport in AA admirals club instead of hanging around port.
