  1. Going to be in Dubrovnik for a day this Spring. I've heard that credit card acceptance can be spotty there, so I'm planning on having cash for most things.

*I know the fee for touring the walls, as well as the cable car service, are fixed. So I've factored that in already.

**What I'm unsure of, though, is average costs for taxis or cafes. (esp. taxis) Really, I'm just trying to figure out how much cash to bring with me, but without carrying around some absurd amount of money.

    Any tips? :):)

    Thanks!

  2. Upon reboarding the ship, you will be directed to a table where you turn in the vodka for storage for the rest of the trip.

You will be given a receipt for the bottle. It will be returned to your cabin on the last night of your cruise.

Awesome! Duly noted then. Thanks so much! :)

  3. Hello, folks!

In a couple of weeks, the wife and I will be jetting off to Copenhagen to catch a 11 day RT cruise on the Regal Princess. Our itinerary includes a 2-day stop in St. Petersburg, and we'd love to be able to bring home a bottle of vodka.

I know there are limits to what you can bring with you upon initial embarkation, but does that apply (or worse) during the cruise? We don't want to drink it on board; we just want to pack it up and bring it home with us (to the States)

  4. *First time poster here, so go easy on me, lol* :)

The wife and I are seriously looking at a northern Europe cruise next year aboard the Regal Princess. I've been pouring over ship stats, google images, and some threads here and, while I've narrowed my choices, I do still have a bit of doubt on some things. So, I thought I'd join the crowd here!

    Quick context:

-We'd like to stay midship, or as close to it as we can get

-Balcony rooms are our first choice, though we might go as high as a Deluxe Balcony, if budget allows. Suites are out though.

    Questions:

    1. I see balcony rooms as high as Deck 15. I know there's public space above that, but does it get really noise on 15 as a result?

    2. Deck 8 (Emerald) seems to be mostly 'obstructed' rooms. I've seen posts here from folks who made out okay on that though, so any preferred 'good' rooms in the obstructed group?

    3. Deluxe balcony only seems to net you 11 extra sqft. Is it even worth the extra cost?

    Thanks for the help!
