Is it possible to have the refreshment drink package and pay up for individual  alcoholic drinks?

It seems alcohol cocktails are $8 more than mocktail/virgin cocktails. So for example, with the refreshment package can you order a pina colada and pay the $8 to include the rum? 
 

Anyone have experience doing this? Thanks!

 Those are bin numbers - think of it like the bar code for the waiter to find the bottle. 

Question....

Are you able to drink at the bar's in the specialty dinning restaurants if not eating? (150, Sabor, Wonderland)

I just called and spoke w/ a rep at RC and they said they were aware of the article but at this time could not confirm they were diverting any ships away from St. Thomas in the near or immediate future (including my specific sailing on HS in October). So either their reps don't have the latest info or the article may be tweaking the truth a little bit. Time will tell...
