  1. Chicken with rice/beans and cole slaw...all home made and very yummy. They will let you have as much as you'd like. We always have 2 plates. Drinks are also included: you can have coke, orange, rum punch. Yes, the rum punch is good or at least like every other rum punch I have ever had on any excursion. :)

Great post and thank you for the info.

Looks like we will book with BZ but, now we are talking about zip line and the tubing? Has anyone done both and if so will it cut your tubing to short. We do not want to miss the ship. Thanks Randy

  2. I would recommend DIY, we just walked of the ship and caught a taxi, about 15 bucks each way for our group of 5. I was a bit worried about coming back but there was a line of taxis at the park even after the cruise tours left ( they were smart knew there were lots of DIY still in the park )

The park opened at 8am, if you are ambitious you can get there before all the cruise big bus and have your pick of a deserted beach and best spots. We got there around 9am and still had an empty beach / park to pick from!

If you plan smartly you can do your dolphin swim, ziplining way before the cruise hordes get there as well!

What was some of the pricing of the things you did at Chankanaab? Also is there good food there and what extra cost aprox. For the food and drinks

    Thanks

  3. Lockers by the dolphin swim area are free. They didn't require you do a swim, but I bet they get kinda crowded. I think the ones by snorkeling were just coin operated.

Snorkel vest is free if you leave an ID. There was a small charge for life jackets masks, or fins. Don't recall what but cheap. We didn't use fins or vests, but currents were enough weak swimmers might feel better with a vest.

There were signs that said vests were required, but when we asked they said it was optional.

Tons of fish and a few statues to see. We swam a but far out to get out of crowd, but plenty to see close in. We enjoyed it but will do money bar next time because entrance fee is so high.

What is some of the pricing for the Chankanaab park? And what items would you recommend to do when there.

  4. It looks like there is a Tequila tasting or tour at the Chankanaab Adventure park. Is this tour or tasting any good?

How about the park it's self, any information or pricing would be great.

  5. WOW Sounds like some great food, I'm wondering as it sounds like many eat the same thing each day.

Does the dinning hall serve the same thing each day?? and if not is there any menu's posted out there??

And If you get room serves or the other restrants what hours are they open for breakfast??

Thanks you for the Info. I will be on the Destiny Randy :)
