  1. The last time I sailed Norwegian, my now adult kids were 5 and 3. We’re leaving for our first NCL cruise since then next week and their latitudes status is currently listed as “Past Guest” instead of a specific level. According to both our TA and a rep at NCL, our children will have their past cruise history start showing up in their profile AFTER we complete our upcoming cruise since it will be their first NCL cruise since turning 18.

Since I’ve heard that from multiple people I hope it’s accurate but I’ll let you know what happens after we get back.

  2. I'll be sailing on Getaway in late January on a 12 night itinerary with a group of 10 who like to eat together. Whenever I've sailed with this many people before I make reservations online in MyNCL for each night we plan to eat in one of the MDRs and never need to wait.

I've seen in the Freestyle Dailies posted in a few recent live reviews that usually just one of the Taste/Savor restaurants are open for dinner along with the Tropicana Room. Since I'm cruising on a longer itinerary during the low season right after the holidays I'd assume it's possible I'll experience this. If I make a reservation for an MDR that ends up not being open each night, is it safe to assume that my reservation will be transferred to whichever one is open?

While it's not the end of the world if the reservation is dropped and we need to wait a few minutes each night, I'm a planner and like to have everything set in advance. I appreciate any insights you all can provide!

  3. Hello,

This June we will be cruising to Nassau and are trying to figure out which resort we should spend the day at. We are traveling with our two teens aged 16 and 18. I am leaning towards Breezes but wanted to hear if the other resorts are a better option. I like how it is all inclusive with the water sports and other activities included. I really appreciate your help!

    Thanks!

  4. I’ve sailed on the Summit to Bermuda back in 2014 and thought it was one of my best cruises. I’m thinking about going on it again but some reviews that I’ve seen haven’t been great. Has the Summit gone downhill and should it be avoided? Or should I ignore the reviews and go anyway?

    I’d really appreciate your help.

  5. Thanks so much for this review! Could you tell me if this cruise has guests of all ages or mostly an older crowd and if there are many children on board? Our first Celebrity cruise on the Summit had passengers of all ages and activities for everyone and we really enjoyed it. However, when we went on the Reflection to the Caribbean 2 years ago the cruise had mostly older guests and the activities were very limited.

  6. Fresh squeezed OJ would be available at breakfast in Windjammer and the Main Dining Room.

You can get a foundain soda (about 6 different choices) from any bar or restaurant with just your SeaPass card.

I purchased the package. Thanks for your help.

I do have one question, the package says it includes sparkling waters. Does Royal give you Perrier and San Pellegrino or do you get some random brand?

  7. Hello,

I’m looking in my Cruise Planner and I see that the price of the Refreshment Package has decreased from $26 to $18. I’m thinking about getting this but I have a few questions. The page says that fresh squeezed juice is included. Where and when could you get this on Adventure? Also, do I need to use the souvenir cup to get a soda or can I go to a bar and ask? I’m sorry if these are dumb questions but I’ve never cruised on Royal before.

    Thanks so much!
