Someone told me that the Oasis' western itinerary formal nights are days 2 and 5. We have traditional dining at 6:00. On the 2nd formal night we have the Come Fly With Me show scheduled at 7:30. From your experience is this pushing it? Does dinner typically take longer than an hour and a half in the MDR? Thanks.

When do the porters start taking bags? Our plan is to arrive a little after 10:00. Also does Oasis dock at the same terminal every time? If so, which one is it?

You can also if you choose once on board go to guest services and have it moved to your name. I had to do that once.

After about 10 phone calls to RCCL over the last 6 months, they finally sent me a confirmation with the $400 OBC from Cyber Monday on it. However, they put the entire credit under the 3rd guest which is our 11 year old daughter. Will this be a problem when we board? I am the guarantee on the Setsail Pass for everyone and would like the money under my name.

Has anyone had any issues with the $400 Cyber Monday OBC not showing up prior to boarding? I was already booked when the Cyber Monday deal appeared, but I was able to apply that promotion to my current booking.

However, the $400 is still not showing and I sail on 6/25. The Voom part of the promotion has shown from the beginning. I have received several different responses from RCCL. The latest is, the OBC codes are applied the day I sail and it should show up on board. Anyone have this issue before? Did the OBC show up on board? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I unpack as soon as the luggage gets there. After I spray the room down with Lysol (handles and remotes), but I'm a bit OCD like that[emoji16]

LOL. This is so me. I bring my Lysol and disinfecting wipes in my carry on. As soon as I enter the room, I wipe down everything (including the dresser drawers).

This will be our first RCI cruise. If we receive our luggage before the drill we will unpack. Unpacking is easy for me because I use packing cubes (best money ever spent).

Yes, just call whoever you booked thru & ask them to re-issue your doc's...

Good morning. Can cruise documents be updated once they have been issued? I have made changes to my dinner times along with some other things. Therefore, the documents they sent are not accurate. Thanks.

I do not have any I can post...if you search youtube though you can find some at least close...I know 9325 is on there...bed is by the closet which I liked. standing up for the dive show gave the best view...the right side diving board was a little tough to see sitting, but id watch the show from my room again.

 

basically any of the pics you can google or even find here of a close room will give you a good idea.

9327, had a great view...cant tell you if higher would be better, but no complaints about watching the show...its a bit of a walk back from the elevators, but didn't mind the extra steps.

I have the same cabin booked for my upcoming cruise. Do you have any pics of the view? It looks like a great location to see the Aqua Theater Show.

Columbus Cove has a lot of tree shaded areas. As the sun moves you can move the chair around a bit to stay in the shade. There are also somewhat costly cabanas that can be rented at Nellies Beach. Some of the beaches also have rentals of those clamshell thingies.

Thanks for the information about Columbus Cove. I will definitely put this information on my list. I considered the cabanas, but I don't think I will be on the beach long enough to justify the cost.

I just came to ask this question and this was the very first post I saw. I have to limit my direct exposure to the sun, but I still want to enjoy the beach. So there are shaded areas on all of the beaches?

In the main dining room, and at the cafe promenade. the cafe promenade makes similar drinks to starbucks - espressos, frappuccinos, lattes, etc. last time i was on oasis or allure (a while ago) they used seattle's best coffee and had tazo teas. chai and hot chocolate were also included.

 

there is a stand-alone starbucks on oasis and allure that does not take the package, so starbucks from that kiosk will not be included.

Thanks Robin. I'm seriously thinking about purchasing the Royal Replinish for myself and dd. The coffee, tea, and bottled water alone makes it worth it for me. Plus dd likes the frozen drinks which can become costly as well. Do you know if the Promenade has iced coffee and iced lattes?

Yes, those espresso drinks are included and there is no limit...other than the package is not shareable.

Do you know where specialty coffees and teas are available on the Oasis?

We found it to be better suited for lunch than dinner...quick tasty meal but not really a "dining experience" like Oasis' other specialty restaurants.

Thanks. I'm taking notes along with the OP. I've heard the roast beef sandwich at Park Café talked about a few times so that is definitely a must try. My entertainment is booked also.

If all three guests are combined on one account, then it does not matter if the OBC is split.

 

You can set limits on spending for a guest by speaking to Guest Services. However, this does not limit their spending in the arcade. For some strange reason, Royal cannot (or will not) limit arcade spending.

Okay as long as I can set limits that's fine. I'm a little concerned about the arcade unlimited spending, however, dd is good with staying within a budget. Thanks again.

Are each of those people in your cabin signing in with their own set sail pass and credit card. If they aren't then all their charges and OBC go right back to the person who provides the credit card for the set sail pass.

The other two are my husband and daughter. I want dd to have a limited amount of spending money and not access to unlimited funds. So am I not able to divide it up because my cc is used for all 3? I'm a little confused now. Lol.
