We were on Emerald Princess Feb 1st - Feb 16th. There was a radio host that gave presentations on the Beetles, Beach Boys and Elvis. Cannot remember his name. If anyone has his name it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Dennis
I was hoping for a preference, such as Puerto Vallarta, have been there four times with Princess and each time the ship has backed in with port side facing the shore.
Thanks
Seriously looking at taking a Canary Island cruise on Anthem of the seas. Looking for info on which side of the ship is best for viewing the ports when in port.
thanks
Dennis
We just left the ship yesterday, had the FLL to LA trip. Very rough seas our last day, 4-5 meter swells and cold 58 degrees. Ship very well maintained and lovely. A few issues with beverage stocking at the lounges. No Bailey’s the first three days, ran out of Grey Goose vodka, Belvedere vodka and Margarita mix. We thought the food was very good during the trip.
Looking to do transfer from the ship to the airport on our own. With transfer through the cruise line always waiting for the transfer bus to fill. Thinking of a taxi for 4 people.

I don't have any of the desired menus but thank you so very much for not putting an apostrophe in "menus". (Sorry, I just see that a lot here on CC and it makes me crazy.)
LOL you sound like my wife, She was a school secretary
We are going on Emerald Princess on Feb 1st. The cruise is a full transit, 15 days long. Looking to see menus to see if different each night or how many duplicates. Wanting to look at specialty restaurants and what nights might be best for us.
Thanks Dennis
We got through it eventually. Took over 2 hours for two couples. I was not aware that you could go to the port and have them do everything. Thought that check in needed to be completed ahead of time, whether the medallion was mailed to you or picked up at the port.
Agree, let’s them employ fewer people. Also, in our opinion, the medallion is just a way for Princess to track you. See what you do and where on the ship you go. If I want a drink or something to eat I do not need someone to know where I am to bring it to me.
Sorry if this was covered before. My wife and I are in our 70’s and not especially tech savvy. It was a horrible experience to check in on the app. It is not user friendly at all. The need to upload passports, vaccine cards and pictures is crazy. What happened to the good old days when you showed up at the cruise terminal and handed the required documents to a person.
in my opinion, cruises are not any cheaper now than when they had more staff. I know other cruise lines are doing the same thing, but we are not a fan.
