Thanks a lot.
So what if we booked the suite for the three of us, and then booked the connecting cabin for our imaginary friend?
🙂

Hi All,
-A quick question on how Celebrity charges with interconnecting cabins. If I got a Sky Suite and a connecting balcony room for my eight-year-old son, would they charge the full rate for both cabins, or how would it work?
-Also, would my son be able to accompany us in the Suite dining room and Michael's Club etc?
-I saw that there are several Sky Suites with connecting rooms on Reflection. Are there any Celebrity or Signature Suites with that configuration? I couldn't see any at first glance.
Thank you!

The other weird thing is that the equivalent cruise for 2019 has celebrity and signature suites available. So I suppose it's worth keeping an eye on the 2020 sailing in case things free up.
-
Thank you both.
I think a sky suite is really no use to us, so looks like we missed out this year. I will try to remember to look more regularly next year. It's a shame because a similar cruise from Southampton has loads of availability, but is no good for us.

Hi All,
I notice that there are no suites except Sky suites available on this sailing, but it can’t have been online for long.
Do they release more cabins with time, or have I missed them all?
Thanks a lot!

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the advice.
Quick followup question: Does anybody know why royal and signature suites seem to be listed at the same price on a lot of cruises at the moment? What would be the reason to go with signature?
Many thanks,
Owen.

Hi All,
I know I'm way ahead of myself, but I wanted to ask while I had it in mind. My wife, son and I are planning to go on a cruise in October 2020 to celebrate my wife finishing her teacher training. We can't do a cruise till then unless it's in high summer, which we don't fancy, so we thought we'd save up and make it a really special holiday when it does come around.
It looks as though Celebrity do a cruise in October in the Western Med which would suit us very well - though obviously we can't be sure that schedules will look the same in 2020.
So my question is simply this: when would be the best time to book a suite for that cruise? Is it cheapest to jump in and book the minute it comes available online, or is there a sweet spot nearer the time to target?
Many thanks for any insights!
Owen.

Good news! We have a kettle. The butler and concierge between them have been extremely accommodating.

Truly one of the worst websites I have used in recent years. Impossible to navigate. Barely any content. Almost nothing works. Desperate. Truly desperate.

Well, the shore-side concierge just pinged me a mail, so I'm going to ask her the same things... Let's see!

You will find many great beer options on the Reflection. Do you like Fuller' Vintage Ale as an example?
Excellent. Very reassuring thank you.

Thanks for the info everyone!

Must admit.... it wasn't especially helpful. Nor is their website. At all.

Thank you everyone!

Hello,
I have a beginner's question or two about the captain's club.
-Are points allocated per booking or per person? So, should my wife and son also set up an account or will I get their points on my account too?
-Do the points expire at some point or are they there for life?
Many thanks!

Bud? BUD??? As in the American Budweiser, not the (oh so much better) Czech brew?
Around here we call that soda pop. When on your next cruise, live on the wild side and try some real beers.
But there aren't any on board according to the menu [emoji24]

On board now. Will ask around. See what hilarity has in store for someone in a suite q
Thanks!

They can't bring what they don't have. Looks like you won't be a good fit for celebrity. I'd cancel
Yes.... you're probably right.
Either that or I'll go along and make an enormous fuss and do a stinking review. Not sure which way to go.

Oh dear.... starting to worry now. What with no tea and no proper beer, perhaps I'd be better off at home. You'd think there'd be enough Brits that go on these sailings that they would provide for us!
-
Thanks both. Well, there's no harm in asking I suppose!

Thanks greydog, that was my fear. I usually go through a cup an hour so I wish I could just have a kettle really

Thanks to you both!
We do have the premium drinks package. Looks like there are a couple of whiskes I'd enjoy there. No beers that I'd drink though unfortunately.

Hello all,
I have a couple of questions about drinks. We're sailing from Rome on the Celebrity Reflection in May and travelling in a Celebrity Suite. Forgive the snobbish tone of my questions; I can't help myself.
I'm an Englishman and drink a lot of tea, while my wife (inexcusably) drinks a lot of herbal and fruit teas. Can we get tea served in the suite? If so, do they serve a good range of a good brand (not Lipton or something) or can we get hot water (actually hot) and bring our own teabags? Any extra charges to be aware of?
Second thing is booze. I like real ale and proper single malt scotches (especially Islay malts). is there a decent range thereof, and will they serve it to our suite? ny extra charges to be aware of? I can't be doing with ghastly bourbons and blended scotches. We do have the premium beverage package.
Thanks a lot!

Thanks all for your help and advice. Very much appreciated.
Regarding using a larger (e.g. Royal) suite, that would be my first choice, but the cruise I was looking at was sold out.
