  1. We are doing this cruisetour next summer too so following with interest.

Those going this year, please can you tell me how far ahead you received information about your accommodation and any optional excursions?

We received lodging info about 3 weeks before. My own group has only booked 1 excursion through NCL and that was right after final payment date. Everything else we booked 3rd party. Cruisetour optional excursions, like in Denali, really can't be made until you get there since they don't assign you a time for your tundra tour until you arrive in Alaska.

  2. We are leaving in 2 weeks on the Southbound Authentic Alaska cruisetour.

    Fairbanks: Bear Creek Lodge

    Denali: Denali Park Village

    Anchorage: Anchorage Hilton

    Homer: Ocean Shores Inn

In Homer part of the group we are sailing with booked a Halibut fishing excursion and I booked a 7 hour wildlife tour and trip to a nearby town for myself. Unless it changes between now and then, you will have most of your full day in Homer free until early evening. We haven't booked anything extra in Denali since we don't know what time our Tundra tour is and we won't have time to do anything in Fairbanks since our flight doesn't arrive until almost midnight the night before the actual tour starts out.

  3. I'm in the TA portal and it's showing these are still available.

    1 Owner's Suite

    1 Aft Penthouse

    3 Forward Penthouse

    5 Mini suites

    7+ Family inside

7+ Midship inside each in 3 categories.

With final payment coming due in a couple days a lot of people wait till the last minute to take advantage of sales and promos. NCL has been doing a major push for Alaska and it's definitely paying off. Alaska is one of the, if not THE, top selling itineraries right now.

To my knowledge there is no charter but there may be a lot of infinity groups going.

  4. We are going to Columbia and Costa Rica in a few weeks. I'm most excited about coffee from these areas.

I tried to look on the US customs site, but it's honestly so confusing. The threads I found in the forums seems to be a few years old as well.

I just want to make sure I'll be able to bring coffee back into US and what those limits may be.

    Thank you in advance.
