Curious to see what selection of craft beer you were able to find. I am an IPA fan so I would love to know what they had available.

Anyone know is the Magic has the new system yet?

I haven't sailed on the Ecstasy or out of SC but they typically have Sam Adams beers and also carry a couple of local options from near the home port. They also had an Angel City IPA and a few other craft beers last year when I sailed on the Sunshine in some of the bars. They also have the Red Frog Pub beer. I wouldn't go in expecting a lot.

We roll our clothes. The clothes take up less room and they don't get wrinkled if you roll them correctly. You can look up tutorials online.

I got our letter as well and was very disappointed however we are making the best of it. On the letter we were offered 25. Per person. To be added to our sail and sign account and have yet to see the credit. Does anyone know when this will be added or have you seen it on your accounts?

You will see the credit on your sail and sign card once you are on board the ship.

I just got back from Half Moon Cay last week. It is a great island! There is a buffet provided for free. You can use your sail & sign card for any purchases however, the beverage packages do not work on the island. Enjoy your trip!

I saw someone on a social media website that shall not be named say that they are currently on the Sunshine and that they had Guys Pig & Anchor in the MDR on embarkation day to help with the crowds on Lido. This cruise is supposedly the first time they have done this. Can anyone currently on the Sunshine confirm that this was the case? I am curious to see if it is Guy's and not just the regular BBQ since I will be on the Sunshine on Sunday.

I have done so. You have to present the physical gift cards (you can't apply the deposit to your S&S account). Easy peasy!

I will be on the Sunshine next month and I am wondering if I can book my next cruise on board using a gift card. Has anyone tried? I have not booked while on bard before so I'm not sure what the process is. I have an extra gift card that I would like to use for the deposit and would like get the extra perks (if any) from booking while on the cruise.

Question: I've read that the sign & sail cards are put into our mailbox in a sealed envelope on the Vista, they no longer provide them at check-in. We board at 11AM, will we be able to access our card when we board the ship, I know there are many others like us who like to start our cruise with a celebratory drink when they get on.

You will use your boarding pass to order drinks until your room is ready.

This thread was from March 2016. Fast forward to January 2017 what is the update on craft beers aboard Carnival ships. I truly am a beer snob:p I will not drink Bud, Bud LT, Miller ect. I love IPAs, Stouts, Hefeweizens ect YUMMY:D.

They also have Sam Adams Rebel IPA. I know Sam Adams is a large brewery but it is a decent IPA when you can't get your hands on smaller craft beers.

We're going on the Vista for the New Year's Eve cruise. We've never done a cruise on New Year's Eve and wonder what to expect. Is everyone more dressed up than usual? Is there a big party for NYE? Since this is a new ship, is it likely that they will have a big party? BTW-DH and I are traveling with his sister and BIL, and we are all in our 60's. Both of them have had major health problems this year and are doing fine now, so we are hoping for a good time on this cruise to start the New Year.

Last year on the Dream most people were dressed up at dinner (it was elegant night). They gave out hats and noise makers at dinner. They also gave out free champagne during embarkation (a couple of days before NYE) and had a huge party on Lido with free champagne on NYE. It was a great time. Enjoy your cruise.

I got the 2 that I ordered today. Checked the balance and it was $120 on each card.

Which website did you use? When I check my balance on Carnivals site, it says my balance is unavailable. Anyone else have the same issue?

I called and spoke with someone at the company that said I should be receiving a tracking number today or tomorrow. So if you have any questions, you can call the number listed in their FAQ section and speak with someone. Fingers crossed the gift cards are received and they are for the correct amount!
