SLS Transportation is 15pp. If it will be more than 3 it is cheaper to take Uber.

It says, "the entire bar list."
It is confusing because some drinks in the bar list have two asterisks which the crew will state means the drink is not included in any plan.
Patron is one of these so called "not included but on the list where everything is supposed to be..." Don Julio is included.
Any additional details on getting them to honor the wording of the package terms?

Yes, they'll happily make whatever you want.

Our agent tried a code I found on the board here and we were offered a beverage package upgrade from Aurea experience to premium package for $320 for the 20 night maiden voyage from Trieste. This is $8pppd.
What all extra will be included and what is the general opinion as to whether or not it is worth it. We will definitely use the mini bar.
Does it include drinks ordered from Room Service?
Thanks in advance for the info.

Does seem as though the conversation took an unneeded turn for the worse.... I'll just say we sailed Explorer's inaugural TA last year. Many cruisers on that voyage, who are also participating in this thread, were already on the ship from earlier segments. We've never encountered a more friendly, social, gracious and polite group of cruisers than those we met on Regent. If you want the company of your fellow cruisers it will never go lacking on this line. At the same time, your privacy is well respected.
You are in for a treat. Have a great time on Explorer.

Any idea of when we will find out what is happening with this cruise? It's supposed to be Gem on October 28 from NYC to New Orleans. Will we be automatically moved to Breakaway? Will itinerary stay the same?
So many questions...

With any travel purchase, you have 24 hours to change your mind. You could call and have the reservation switched back if you are dissatisfied.

Your room steward will not be upset if you request both services. They are there to happily serve you and I've always found them to do a pretty great job.

Eliminating lobster (from everywhere on the ship except the lobster bisque - which tells you the bisque is made on land and transported frozen) was just one of the many NCL downgrades this year. They also significantly downgraded the beverage package pricing many popular (but not top shelf by any stretch) call liquors at $16.95 a shot. Sad to treat customers this way who have expectations when they paid NCL to receive the same quality product and service they'd given in the past. We will try HAL.

You will see info about it in the dailies. We went to the murder mystery lunch. The show was funny, with lots of improv, fun to do once.

O.P. said in another post they are sailing with 3 year-old twins. Seems like it would be hard to get a case of wine drank. :D
You're right, they should bring two.

What do you plan to do with the extra 14 feet?

You'll pay for your parking as you enter the lot before the cruise--not after the cruise. Because we had a boarding time of 1:30 - 2:30 pm, there was NO line to pay to enter to parking lot. A definite perk of a later boarding time.
To that point if you are planning on getting to the cruise port in the AM I would not recommend using the port's parking. EZPark offers cruise parking and will shuttle you to and from the ship. The port doesn't lease enough parking space to allow the new passengers to park until the previous cruise passengers depart so there is often a wait before they even begin collecting payments from the new parkers.

We had an "extended balcony" on our Pride cruise and the balcony already had an extra chair. It was mismatched and we thought it was from the last cruise and would perhaps be collected, but it was still there when we disembarked. In a suite you will likely find three chairs or two chairs and a lounger...

I just called Celebrity @ 1800-242-6374
An They had to double check but yes the Premium Celebration Package
Does go with the dinner for 2 as part of the cost
So I ordered it for Christmas Eve :D
Good news! So was it your restaurant choice and reservation you were able to set up for Christmas Eve or just the Champagne and strawberry delivery? Does all of that have to occur on the same night or could we receive the in-room items one night and dine another?
Thanks for getting the information - this package sounds like a winner!
-
@Driveshaft - Did they charge you the specialty dining fee for dining in Murano or was your dinner there included in the price of the Celebration Package?
When do you get to choose which restaurant? When you purchase the package or once onboard?
-
Reading the website it says it includes "reservations" in one of their specialty restaurants. Does this mean that they simply make a reservation and the dining charge will be in addition to the package price?
-
Keep in mind this 'suite' is not really a suite at all but just a balcony room with a few square feet add and I think one extra chair. Ninety square feet doesn't increase my comfort level.

We were off by about 930. If you are self assisting you can just walk off the ship at your leisure no reason to congregate in one of the lounges.
-
That sort of BS deceptiveness is not the note on which I wish to embark on a vacation. I will still probably cruise, just not with Celebrity, ever after this.
-
Be very careful if you are booking Celebrity over the holidays. AFTER processing our card for full payment for our cruise they say that you cannot purchase specialty dining packages for holiday sailings and they have refused to sell us the five dinner package for our upcoming 12 night cruise on Eclipse.
BE VERY CAREFUL THIS COMPANY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF IN A HEARTBEAT. THIS IS WORSE NICKLE AND DIMING THAN ANYTHING I'VE SEEN ON NCL!!!:mad:

MSC Divina's premium package includes the minibar. It is sparse with four beers and one bottle each of Absolute Red Label and Tanquerray a couple cans of nuts, juices and a few sodas. It was a very nice perk, as others have said, very nice to just grab a beer from the fridge and go back to the balcony.
We are sailing Celebrity over the holidays and were looking forward to having that perk again.

We are just off the Divina August 27 sailing and it was not included with Fantastica cabins.

So hope you can smoke in the casino! Ommission of a cigar lounge as on Divina necessitates some sort of indoor smoking area.
