Hi, this is my first time cruising. Wondering if I will get bored during the day when we are at sea. My question is, do they have an itinerary or classes that we can take?

Such as cooking classes, craft classes, etc? Anyone been on the Independence lately and could tell me if they offer any classes.

I was assigned an adjoining room, but don't need it. Question, since it's adjoining will be share a balcony or have a divider and privacy? What makes a room superior over a Deluxe? We were assigned superior room.

Hi, okay, I think I found the right place to post now. Thanks everyone for your guidance and help. Once again, 1st time cruising. Leaving in 14 days. Here are the questions I have. Here are the details of my cruise. Any questions you can answer, thank you in advance.

Superior Balcony Room D3

1. Better to buy drink packages, Internet, Dining packages before we get there or wait till on board? Do they ever discount the packages once on board?

2.Do you recommend to bring extension cord for cabins? Enough plugs? Close to bed?

3. Will a 30 inch suitcase be too big or should I stick with 25 inch? is there enough room for 30 inch in the cabin?

4. Any other recommendations what to bring from home so we don't have to buy it on ship?

5. Are the rooms updated or outdated?

Should we bring our own beach towels?

Detergent? Hangers?

Anything that you would recommend brining from home so we don't have to buy there? Anything that helps in the room that you wish you would have brought?

Trying to make it so we don't spend a lot once we get there.

Hi! Any information would be GREATLY appreciated. My guy friend and I are going on the Independence of the seas in two weeks. 5 night Cozumel, Belize cruise. We are departing from FLL. Since it's our first time cruising I have questions.

1. On RCI, can you pay a fee to board early or embark early on the first or last day?

2. Is it better to buy drink packages or Internet packages on the ship or beforehand? I mean, do they discount it when you get on ship or just better to have everything paid for ahead of time.

3. Is it better to be in the AFT or Front of the ship? We are on Deck 6. Your thoughts?

4. Can you use your cell phone if you purchase wi-fi package or is it extremely slow.

5. Better to go with Royal Caribbean Excursions or find one on your own for less money?

6. Are the rooms updated or outdated? We ended up with a Superior Balcony D3 room. Not sure what D3 means.

Again, I know that is a lot of questions, but any help on any of the questions would be greatly appreciated? Thank you so much!!!
