Uber or Lyft. Taxi if technologically challenged. End of thread.

If you haven't prepaid the gratuities, you'll end up using the credit anyway.
-
That's the old schedule. Here's the new one:
-
We called Carnival and the rep said that you probably won't be able to pay the difference between the max Cheers price of $20 and the final price for an expensive drink like you can with NCL.
-
NCL Epic on Nov 24, 2018 is cheaper at $770 for 11 nights in an inside cabin, including port fees and taxes, excluding gratuities.
Lovely ports and itinerary.
If you add the service charges (gratuities) that's another $319.00 total for two people. So, the cost of your $770.00 would be $929pp. But, did you get the drink package? Because the drink package and gratuities associated with the package are also included in my original $944pp total cost which is saving a bunch of money.

Used a travel agent (NCL direct discounts typically suck). 11 day inside cabin on NCL Epic (Jan 12-23rd 2019). $944 pp total which includes the taxes, port charges, Ultimate Beverage Package, the gratuities associated with the Ultimate Beverage Package, and Complimentary Daily Service Charges.

They stated they tried to use the most updated info possible.
Read it, it will be close!

Yeah, I noticed it after I asked the question. Thanks.

Cheers Evaluator Spreadsheet by nicowlin on this thread page .
Scroll down to it.
Thanks. Is it confirmed that the list and prices are 'summer 2018' current, or is this list from a dated source?

Hello,
I'm just looking for a current list of brand name liquor types (plus the individual shot prices) that can be purchased at the various bars on a ship. I will be going on the Paradise. Everything I seem to find online is pointing to 2017 prices or earlier, and usually doesn't include the brands and their liquor types but more the custom mixed drinks. Thanks.

Yes you can switch between devices if you purchase an internet plan.
The hub app chat feature is $5 pp for the whole cruise

Thanks. Do you know how the hub chat feature works? Do you create a user name so others know it's you, or does it say like 'Guest 1 Room 7212' etc..

Hello,
We will be sailing on the Carnival Pride and I have a couple of questions about the internet and the Carnival HUB app.
- If you purchase an internet package, it says that you can use the internet (such as the social media package) on one device at a time. Does that mean you have to somehow deactivate it on one device to use it on another? For example, if I want to use it on my phone during the day, and tablet at night, what steps need to be taken?
- I see that Carnival offers text chat for $5 for the entire voyage via the Carnival HUB app. Is it reliable and is it $5 per device, or $5 per cabin? So if my wife and I want to explore different parts of the ship and message each other, can that be done with the single $5 fee?
Thank you.

You can take the shared van from The cruise terminal to Port Lucaya. It's $10. p/p round trip. Ask the van driver to point out the public beach access sign next to the Police Department. You walk down that pathway to Billie Joe's. I would do a search on Trip Advisor for some recent Billie Joe's info. I was there a few years ago. It's right on the beach. Definitely "rustic!"
Thanks, this is helpful.

Hello again,
Does anyone have answers to at least some of the questions? I'm kind of surprised that there hasn't been a single response.

Hi folks,
I'm looking for some information on Billy Joe's on the Beach in Freeport. I tried calling the number on their web page, but it went to voicemail. So I figured I'd ask the experts and post my questions here.
1) How far is it from the cruise port (Carnival Sensation) once docked? Is it in walking distance, or should I take a cab?
2) Is there a beach entry fee to get this place, or will the cab take me directly (or very close) to Billy Joe's and I won't have to worry about a fee?
3) What hours are they open? The Carnival Sensation docks there on Monday January 18th from 8am to 5pm. I don't want to get there too early and then find out they aren't open.
4) Are the prices they list in US dollars, or are they in a local currency?
5) Are the picture's I see on their web site current? My wife sun burns easily so I want to be sure there are shaded areas for her to sit.
Thanks!

There are other more interesting non-alcoholic beverages to have on the first sailing day. :)
