  1. Hi, I have been to the Atlantis plenty of times. I will be going again later part of November for 5 nights. I can get a price list and let you know how much everything is. I know a lot of people want to know the prices for the things to do there. I was just there this past February and they are getting more strict on where you can go on the property for free. You can walk along the Marina Village which has nice places to eat and some nice shops. Bring $$$$ things are not cheap there. Once you walk towards the end of the marina ,near the pizzeria, walk up the stairs on your right and there is a box office where you can get your tickets for whatever you want to do there. If you just want to walk in and look around you can check out the high end stores inside and go to the casino. You can go outside but only walk around the outside of the casino. Get some nice photos of the Royal Tower!! There are security check points around the resort, so make sure you have a ticket or a room key. I will try to post the price list on here when I am there.

  2. Cant wait to sail on Quantum of the Seas outta Bayonne, NJ. So happy that they are bringing the new ship to the Northeast!! I live near Albany, NY so it'll be great to just drive to the port. Been on Voyager and Explorer outta Bayonne. So much easier to drive there, then to fly to Florida or elsewhere. Going on Jewel of the Seas next month outta San Juan, hoping to book Quantum of the Seas while on this ship to get my savings for booking while onboard the ship. Found somewhere that they may have a spa junior suite, would like to book that if the price is right. Hoping the prices wont be so expensive that I have to get a room with no view. Loving the new features that they will have Quantum, anyone know when the next update will be?

  3. Going to the Gran Caribe Real in December. Can anyone give me a review of what they thought of this hotel. Are the drinks weak or do they make them strong? Are the rooms really outdated or just average? How was the food? Lastly what kinda entertainment is at the resort and how far to Coco Bongo's or any of those kinda places.

  4. Hello, I think the Pets at Sea is just exactly what ahornb said, kinda like a "Build a Bear". When I just went on the Adventure of the Seas, they had this big huge thing in the Promenade, that looked like a huge bubble gum machine. But instead it had fluffy cotton in it. You got to choose an animal and fill it with the cotton. Then choose an outfit for it. I saw a few kids making them, they were really cute. So I wonder if they are going to have a room to make them in on Oasis? They had to put everything under a table while the kids made them, so I could see why they would want a room to make them. Hmm, wonder if that is what the "Pets at Sea" is?

  5. The life boats are usually hanging up on deck 4 so when you do the lifeboat drill they are above you tucked in. I don't recall them sticking out the side of the ship. I am going to have to review some videos that I have taken on previous cruises. Also, on deck 4 if you walk up the stairs you will find the helicopter pad. It is great to see the islands as you pull up to them or when you are leaving if the ship is faced towards the island. You don't have the glass banister thing blocking your view. I am hoping it is set up the same way on Freedom. I am looking at Royal Caribbean's brochure page 84-85 it has the deck plans. Also, I think you can type in Freedomoftheseas.com and I think it has some neat things to look at about the ship.

  6. We also have a "Hump" cabin on the Freedom. 8336. We have stayed in a "Hump" cabin on 3 of the Voyager class ships. They are great to have because you can see all the way to the right and all the way to the left. But you really need to be in 6638 or 6640. They stick out the farthest from the ship. So you will get a better view. I am not sure if the jacuzzi thing sticks out on that level or not. Good question to ask? Hmm, I have to check that out now as my husband and I are on deck 8 and not sure what deck the jacuzzi sticks out on. I will look at photos on webshots to see if I can figure that out. Or on You tube and watch a video. Happy cruisin........
