  1. We normally book two cabins, with my wife and daughter assigned to one and myself and son in the other. (Since Princess won't allow minors to be assigned to a cabin without an adult)

Does anyone know if I purchase 100 shares in a stock account jointly owned with my wife can we get the OBC for both cabins?

  2. Hello,

I've read a bunch of posts but can't seem to find a clear answer. We are about to book the Royal for an Northbound (Vancouver-Wittier) Alaska cruise this summer. We are a multi generational family in need of 5 balcony cabins, preferably with some connecting cabins. Because of this and the late booking we are limited in what cabins are available.

I see some people say it does not matter which side of this ship you are on as the Captain will spin the ship when in Glacier Bay so everyone gets a view, but what about the rest of the time when you are cruising between ports? Is there an advantage to being on the land side of the ship? For example, heading north to be on the starboard side? What about high deck verse low? Normally we chose high for Caribbean cruises but is it better to be low for Alaska to better see marine life?

    So basically:

    Which side of the ship?

Better to be high or low?

    Thank you!

  3. Following along as we are on the Breakaway cruise after yours.

You had responded to my post asking about whether the public Vibe bar is open for sail away. If you are near it I would really appreciate it if you could let me know if it's open as we are trying to find a good meet up spot for a large group of people at sail away.

Thanks, and have a great trip!

  4. Does anyone know if the small bar on deck 17 outside of Vibe is usually open for sail away? I don't see a name listed for this bar. I'm not talking about the bar inside of Vibe, but the small section just outside. Looking to meet up with a group and thought this would be a good spot since the area near the pool bar is usually so crowded for sail away.

And if you are familiar with this bar, does it usually stay open all day? Or just limited hours?

    Thanks

  5. Can anyone who booked with shoreexcursioneer tell me how long they actually got at the resort? I know the day pass is from like 9 to 6, but wondering how the pick up and drop off times are assigned which could make a huge difference in how long you are actually there.

Also, was the included transportation on a shared bus/van where you had to wait for other people, or was the vehicle provided just for you?

We are in port from 9-6 and I'm just trying to figure out how much time we will actually get to be at the resort to see if it's worth the cost.

    Thanks

  6. We are a group of two adventurous families traveling with 3 kids ages 10, 5, and 4. Our plan for Belize was to book a snorkeling excursion (likely the Shark Ray Alley/ Caye Caulker one with Coral Breeze) for the day.

We are now having some second thoughts as to whether this is a good idea. The 4 and 5 year old were going to be booked as tour observers with the idea that one adult would stay on the boat with them at all times. In shallower waters we would allow them to get in the water and swim around with flotation devices. They are both used to swimming in pools and have been on small boats before.

The main concern for us now is whether this is just too much time for the kids to be on a boat and whether there will be any shade on board? Does anyone have experience with taking kids on a similar excursion?

    Thanks
