Thanks for all the advice everyone.
We're flying out to Azura on 11th November. Very excited. Nervous about the flight but been having hypnotherapy so should be ok. Fingers crossed. Time will tell I guess

We are off on our first fly cruise in November and we're both getting really excited. Just have a couple of questions:
Can anyone tell which jabs they had for these islands? I am finding conflicting information. We have booked to see our nurse but will be interested to see what people have already had.
Also I know this might sound a bit daft but when we go swimming what do we do with our things, especially our cruise cards? I am concerned that one of us will need to sit on the beach with everything while the other goes in the sea. What has everyone done.
Any answers will be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone

Hi Rick
Yes. We know about the seats situation. We are on watch for it to come up on the cruise personaliser.
Thanks for the information though. Always appreciate some one taking the time to help us out.
Cheers

Hello everyone
Has anyone been on the 'Airport and Snorkle' excursion at St. Maarten?
We are thinking about booking it, but wondered how far the boat moors from the beach? It looks like you probably have to swim to the beach so we're not so sure.
Any information would be fantastic

Thank you for all your replies.
I can see what you mean about the lounge. Looking forward to the other benefits of premium economy.
I'm going to ask my GP about the jabs.
Happy cruising everyone

Hello
We are flying out to Azura, in Barbados, this November. This is our first fly cruise so I would like to ask some general questions:
We are cruising the islands and wondered if we need to have any jabs? I have tried researching but answers are very vague.
Do we need to obtain a visa for The Dominican Republic?
We have booked premium economy seats and understand we will have use of the 'Posh' lounge at Gatwick. Is this true and if so is there a dress code?
Lastly can up you use American dollars on Martinique? Websites are saying euros?
Any advice will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance

I have just noticed that P and O Cruises have just posted information on Twitter regarding Adonia and Azura. It relates to flights from and to Manchester and how the itineries have change.
No doubt they have posted the same on Facebook also.
Hope this helps

I know this is slightly off subject but is the "well dressed" (tongue in cheek) driver still running one of them. Lovely chap but could have done with looking in the mirror before he left the house in the morning lol :)

Thank you for the information. I've plenty of time to do some research.
Hope you both have a fantastic cruise. Bet you're really excited. I know I am :)

Hello
We are flying out to Azura, in Novmber and just up graded to Premium Economy.
I understand that our baggage allowance has been increased to 28kg. When I checked the personalised it says no bag should exceed 23kg.
Can I assume this means we can take 2 bags then? One of 23kg and one of 5g. We also get 5kg of hand luggage?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated :)

Hello
Thank you very much for the information.
Hope you have a fantastic time in March.
If you get a minute, when you get back I will still be interested to see what happens at Amber Cove :)

Hello
I have seen some conflicting information but most of it points to a visa. Others say just a tourist card. It is confusing.
Any information will be grateful appreciated.
Thank you :)

Hello
I have never travelled as far a field as this before so I just googled visas and Dominican Republic came up. There is a website called CBIT Visas. There is a section for P and O Cruises. It mentions Dominican Republic on there. I just need to know if we get them or does the ship obtain one for all the passengers.
Thanks

Hello everyone
We are off on Azura to the Caribbean in November. I noticed that you need a visa to visit Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic. Do we have to get our own visa or will the ship obtain a visa to cover all the passengers on board?
Thanks in advance:)
WiFi costs on P&O Ventura
in P&O Cruises ( UK )
Posted
Hello
We have just got back from the Caribbean on Azura. They had the new Wifi set up on there. I used the basic Wifi which was for social media only and cost £7.95 for 24 hours. I also bought the next package which was social media and some browsing. That was £12.50 for 24 hours. There is a third package for everything but I didn't use that.
All the packages allow you to pay, to use for the whole cruise, instead of daily, which is cheaper. I think the very basic one (social media only) was about £100. You can do the whole cruise for the other packages but I didn't look at the prices. The third package just allow you to do everything. It looks pricey but worth it if you need a lot of access.
Hope this helps and have a fab cruise.
