I believe, WC people onboard for full sailing internet and gratuities were included in their fare.

If they booked as mini segments there are differences in what they have to pay.

I was just curious to see what the pricing was like, if you got on board Dec 10 and said "Oh, we need to buy the Wi-Fi package". My partner suggested it could be over $10,000 for Wi-Fi and I thought that it was a joke, but then I thought about how I payed $450 for just a 7 day cruise last month. 😮 At that rate, a 274 day cruise puts it well over $10,000. It would be hilarious if that's what they were charging.

  2. Both are 14 day cruises. The HAL Koningsdam is a much newer boat than the Sapphire Princess, but are they comparable in regards to quality of decor, food quality, production shows, etc? We are two 40-somethings and two 70-somethings. No children with us. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

As for ports of call, they both go to Bergen, Geiranger, Stavanger, and Honningsvag, but after that here are the differences. Which has a better collection of ports?

    Holland America Koningsdam

    Haugesund, Norway

    Eidfjord, Norway

    Flam, Norway

    Molde, Norway

    Sapphire Princess

    Skjolden, Norway

    Hellesylt, Norway

    Trondheim, Norway

    Tromso, Norway

    Gravdal, Norway

    Alesund, Norway

  3. The time to get to attractions in Stockholm will be greatly reduced but your time in Stockholm may actually be shorter. The trip through the Stockholm Archipelago takes 4-5 hours and I believe we departed Stockholm at 2:00. The real advantage to going to Stockholm is the scenic cruising [emoji4]

The itinerary says it's in Stockholm 7:00am to 7:00pm. Does that include the time on the boat riding around the archipelago? In other words, are we not going to get to exit the boat until after 12?

  4. No large ships (like RCL) would stop in Capri. Only a very few small ships anchor nearby and tender there.

    Naples is your port.

Thank you. It's been a long time since I was there, but I remember it taking forever and a day just to get over to Capri. Tons of people waiting forever. Has this improved?

  5. I'm planning to do Harmony of the Seas leaving Barcelona on 6/26. On 7/1 it stops in Naples/Capri, but I want to find out specifically which one. We really prefer Capri, and the last time we did a Mediterranean cruise it called in Naples and took us forever just to get from Naples to Capri, even though it's not that far.

    Thank you!

  6. Hi there... I am taking the 11-day Regal Princess June 14, 2016 from Copenhagen. It says it visits Berlin, but it's actually Warnemunde, and I believe Warnemunde is a good 2.5 hours from Berlin. 5 hours combined driving seems like a waste of time and Berlin is so big with so many things to see, I can't imagine being able to make it worth while.

Is there another city that is closer to Warnemunde that you can recommend? Hamburg looks a little closer, but not much. Or, is there a faster way do get to Berlin?
