  1. We just returned from our trip. We used ItalyTours.eu.

We did the "Best of Rome" (no Vatican /closed due to All Saints Day).

We were met at the pier and on our way by 7:30am - and arrived by 9am.

We had skip the line tickets for the Colloseum and Forum (and we did skip a very long line).

The Vatican was closed but we did stop and walk around.

Other sites we saw was Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and stopped at other sites to take pictures.

We had a very nice Italian lunch near the steps (on our own).

We were dropped off at the pier around 5pm.

Cristina at Italy tours answered all our questions before via emails and after sent us an email to make sure we had a good time. Very professional.

    I hope this helps.

  2. We just returned from our trip (NCL Epic).

We arranged with Barcelona Day tours to pick us up (six of us) at the airport. He was waiting for us when we exited the airport, helped with bags and delivered us to our hotel in no time.

We stayed at the Continental Hotel Barcelona. Perfect place to stay. Right on La Ramblas. The hotel staff made sure we were comfortable while we waited for our rooms. We arrived at 9am and checked in by noon. Buffet food was tasty and a nice selection of food to choose from. Hotel is within walking distance to a lot of sites to see. We had a room with the balcony. Once the doors were closed - no sound.

Did the Barcelona free walking tour - met up with them at the Plaza. Very informative.

Hotel helped us arranged a van to transport us to the pier. Van was unable to get through the city (because of the demonstrations), but the hotel had two cabs waiting for us - like I said they were accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we made it to the pier.

Upon our return to Barcelona we arranged Monserrat and Cava Tour, through Barcelona Day Tours. Tour guide and van was waiting for us when we disembarked from ship and we were on our way. Guide was very informative. Monserrat was beautiful, lots to see, beautiful scenery and footpaths. The Cava tour was even better. They took us to an old / recently purchased Vineyard. They showed us the vineyards and then we toured the old farmhouse and converted winemaking area. We enjoyed sampling the different Cava's. The wine maker sat with us and talked about the winemaking and the blends. Very intimate. In all the tours we've taken, we have never had the winemaker sit down with us.

All and all, it was a great trip.
