We were on Paradise Feb 1-6. Shiplash is awesome! We went every night they played. They do a classic rock night, a Motown night, an 80s night.
Thanks so much

I've been trying to find copies as well :-(

Would love it if you could scan and post the latest Fun Times, if it's not too much trouble

But the answer to your question is...Carnival has not stated that the Paradise will be receiving Guy's or not.

I cruise on her for the first time in April...gonna check out your blog now...thanks

It's the bottom floor....if you want to be closer to the action, I'd call Carnival to see what they have available on a higher floor.

Sorry, not new but I have some from last January.
Thanks....

For lunch on embarkation day on our last two cruises my sister and I were able to do upstairs from the buffet to a fish place, sorry can't remember the name, and we were able to have a wonderful lunch with no lines and plenty of seating. Is something similar available on Carnival Legend?
Unfortunately the Fish and Chips is only on Conquest Class ships

Just got off the Paradise this morning. This was the worst cruise that I have been on. The service and ship was fine. The food was awful on the Lido deck; it was ok in the dining room. The worst part was that it was a party boat. There were people drunk everywhere and people taking food and drinks into the hot tub. There was no dress code for the Lido deck buffet. Girls wearing bikinis, no cover ups; several men with no shirts on; and several people with no shoes. It was disgusting. It appears the dining room didn't have a dress code either. Carnival has gotten too relaxed with their rules. I am considering leaving Carnival. :(
Can't wait for my 4 day cruise in April...I love to have fun on a funship....and if you think if the Paradise party's...y'all should try the Elation out of New Orleans....wooohooo!!

There were some photos circulating around on a cruise website that showed the Elation listing to the starboard side....it looked pretty bad
Hi Butzie!!

I'm sticking wit my wind theory more than it being the current. If it was the current it, it would more likely push the ship sideways and not make it list. By looking at the pictures, the ship was not rounding a bend so there wouldn't be any cross currents to make the ship list. It is true that the stabilizers aren't typically used in the river do to debris making the ship easier to list, especially when it is at a near stand still as stated by a passenger.

But they have no sofas, right?
I believe they do, I haven't been in a Conquest Class wrap since 2005 so my memory is a little foggy..lol

6,7 or 8 are fine...

Typically wind is most likely the culprit if the ship is barely moving. From looking at the picture, the ship was pointed directly into the current so it wouldn't be taking a side current. I'm no expert but I think that is the likely scenario.

Does said bottle of wine count against my 15 drink limit? anyone know?
My assumption is that since your paying for the wine that it will not count against your drink total. The discount is just a side benefit of the program.

Thanks for all the great feedback, I appreciate it. Still hoping somebody can attach a funtimes thought :)
