Traveling to other countries ADA does not apply so I would be interested in what other countries do. 
 

I believe the cruise industry can set other rules as they are not US flagged.

I was on the Koningsdam May 7-14 I never saw anything about isolation cabins.  I walked all the floors over the course of the trip.  I had relatives on other floors.  We did have a fire in the trash compacting room which was contained to the trash compactor, as well as a death on our floor/hallway.  Other than that the trip was uneventful.  We tested COVID negative on Friday so that we could fly home Saturday.  The ship was pretty lax on the masking...supposedly you had to wear a mask getting on/off the ship but we never saw anyone wearing a mask at any of the ports.  I am vaccinated and work in the healthcare industry.  I am pretty ok with COVID...not the end of the world for me.

We got off the Koningsdam May 7-14.  Gala nights were Sunday and Wednesday...if I remember correctly.

Nope, you only need a test if flying from CA to USA.  If we tested positive we knew we could still get home by simply crossing the border at a land crossing.

We just got off an RT Vancouver Alaska trip on Koningsdam May 14.  They did not advertise it, but all you had to do was go to the customer desk and register for the Friday COVID testing.  You received a time, and ship medical staff tested everyone that signed up.  Approximately 30 minutes later if you did not receive a phone call in your room, you were negative.  Your results were then delivered to your room that evening.  According to the Medical staff, nobody tested positive from those of us that signed up.  The testing was free.  I do not know if there was testing at the shoreside or not.  Per the Captain, ship staff were tested twice daily.

We were on the Koningsdam May 7-14.  The Captain said we were at 70% capacity as the staff was at 75% capacity.  

I was on the Koningsdam May 7-14. We met our two room attendants shortly after embarkation. They asked if we wanted 1 or 2 daily services, and what times for both. We chose 10am and 7pm. Each day we had a towel caricature, and chocolates. We bypassed one am service on a sea day as we decided to watch some movies. Later that evening they cleaned and did a turn down and cleanup. 

We just got off the Koningsdam on May 14. We stopped at the front desk and inquired about our COVID test. The Friday before returning to port there was a COVID test performed. You had to ask beforehand there was not an announcement about it. Just for the people that inquired. 
 

Medical staff swabbed people and you returned to your room and await the results. 
 

Per medical staff none of the 100 or so people who were tested to return to the US were positive.

Yes, the definition of fully vaccinated has not changed and does not include a booster. Everyone is still considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after the single-dose J&J/Janssen vaccine. Fully vaccinated, however, is not the same as having the best protection.  People are best protected when they stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations, which includes getting one booster when eligible.

I have a HAL cruise coming up in 30 days.  I am cruising Alaska through Vancouver.  I just called HAL and the representative stated that I no longer need a negative test to enter Canada, or get off the ship after returning to Canada.  I do however need a negative test to get on the ship in Vancouver???? What kind of sense does that make.

I haven't tried it but have read several posts from passengers who said another person could go to the buffet & eat with them at the Crab Shack.

 

Although that may depend upon how busy they are & they could save all available seats for the Crab Shack. So you'll "probably" be able to do it but "maybe" not when full of paying diners.

I am confused, I was under the impression that on the Crown the "Crab Shack" night wasn't in the buffet?

I like crab legs, my wife doesn't, if I sign up for the "Crab Shack", are there other dining options for her in the same venue?

Can I fill my travel mug with a drink from the bar? How many drinks can I order at one time with the AIBP? If I order a Beam and Coke, pour it into my travel mug, then order another and so on...

I just want to be able to sit on the balcony and have a drink...not walk to and from the bar for every drink...

We are on Crown in C752 in April, can't wait to experience this cabin. This is my first Princess cruise, and my wife's second.

I will be sailing on Crown, and I prefer to enjoy a good cigar. I have read many complaints about cigarette smokers filling up the Speakeasy so they don't have to walk so far...isnt that just for cigars, as it is listed as a cigar lounge?

AIBP does not include the specialty coffee places like Starbucks? (if Crown Princess has one)

Ok, haven't been on a cruise since 2001 so bear with me...

I got the AIBP on our upcoming Mexican Rivera Crown Princess sailing. I have a few questions...

At dinner in the Main Dining Room, we can get free glasses of wine (correct?) and 40% off a bottle. Can we order the bottle non corked, and then request said bottle be delivered to our room at a later time by room service? Is there a fee?

Can I order an alcoholic drink in my room with a meal? Cost?

How are the pours? Say for a Beam and Coke...

How can I get multiple cans of coke? Just ask?

When ordering room service, can I specify a can of coke, can I also specify multiple cans, and is all of that included in AIBP?
