Hi,

There is plenty of local knowledge regarding the battle.

The German consulate, the house Killington Drake lived,the view over Montevideo where the Graff Spee lies but most important the small naval museum not usually open to the public where many artifacts of the battle history are located.

The tour also visits the German cemetery where 36 sailors are buried.

Has anyone used Real English Tours in Montevideo who specialise in history and tour relating to the Battle of the River Plate. We are docked there on 20 February 2020.
