Looking to rent scooters in Bermuda and was wondering if anyone has rented from both Oleander and Elbow Beach and which they prefer? I see great reviews from both but my biggest issue is the wait.
What is the best way to rent to avoid lines?
Is 1 day considered 24 hours if we go from Noon to Noon and rent for 2 days?
Is there pay to park at the beaches?
Thanks in advance!

Bringing my laptop on the BREAKAWAY but I have heard that Security blocks are on the TV's. I want to hook up the lap top to the HDMI port. Does anyone have experience on this?

Sailing in less than a month and my exact stateroom dropped by close to $400 for the same cabin/pax. Called NCL and I got turned down for an upgrade or OBC. Nothing I can do, and not even mad. Such is life .. will still enjoy my cruise anyway.
You will get 100 OBC if you call and ask to negotiate. They didn't offer this to me at first only an upgrade which I refused at first and asked if she could review it with her supervisor. The supervisor stated that NCL offers up to 25% of the price drop in OBC or will offer you an upgrade if available. I also had the Ultimate Bev and WIFI promo that wasn't affected. I give NCL an A+ in customer service for working with me and meeting in the middle.
It is possible that the ship upgrades are full depending on the cabin you chose.

Irrelevant when you use it. It is when you enter into the contract that matters. You buy a brand new house (at times) months before it is ready to be used. If prices go up or down in the new development, your contract does not get adjusted. If rates change on a loan after the lock period you do not get an adjustment.
Again - poor logic, when you purchase a new home it is either ready to move in and was purchased (closed)and is yours or closing has not yet occurred and is yes still negotiable.
Once closed you have agreed to the final purchase price and it is a done deal.
The housing market goes up and down and that is when you look to see if it is the right time to buy. Then a Meth clinic or Landfill lands in the area and the prices drop 20% like mine did and the value of the home went from 500K to 400K you will be asking your realtor to re negotiate because you feel it is unfair.
As far as a loan goes you can just go to a different Bank. If the APR is locked at 5% and drops 4% (20% like my cruise) I would think if you know any type of money management your going to ask some questions in a forum like I did.
And then move your loan across the street.
This is why I said NCL has the advantage and that is why I was asking for cruisers with experience to this.
NCL worked with me and gave me an upgrade. They also offered me a 125$ OBC if I stayed put. Why? because this is business and they want to show that they do care. I will continue my business with them and have moved my focus to looking for a great time!

Christmas tree logic doesn't make any sense
You are using the tree at the time of purchase as well as a used car.
I understand the concept. NCL has the advantage on this as well as many other things
And where can you buy trees for 10 bucks. I might hold out next year.

To All
NCL heard my story and offered this:
125$ OBC which is 25% of the price Difference and stay put
Upgrade to a Mini Suite
Upgrade to an AFT
I opted to upgrade to the AFT and will be taking full advantage of the Ultimate Beverage Package.......

Vince, this was not a guaranteed Balcony. I opted out of the 999$ guarantee and paid the 1249 to pick my room. Now you can pick your room for 1009 and book a guarantee for 899.
To All - I will enjoy my trip without worry I just want to reach out for past experiences as I know NCL will not be reaching out to me and saying hey we want to offer you OBC. Wifi, specialty dining, or casino match - All things that will be almost no cost to them.
When I hit the Powerball I will be traveling on my own ship!

Thanks for your feedback
I have stayed in a Mini suite and feel they are the same as a Balcony.
I am content with my room and I don't feel the upgrade is an upgrade, but what I do see is a 20% drop.

Could someone guide me in the right direction on how to handle this situation...
1249 pp booked and final payment complete and now the price dropped to 1009pp
NCL offered a complimentary upgrade after calling them to either AFT or Mini Suite.
Has anyone negotiated beyond the upgrade? I don't feel it is an upgrade when I am content with my Balcony but the 480$ price diff for the two of us makes me feel like I was taken advantage of.
If I go with the upgrade can I negotiate the remaining difference to wifi, specialty restaurant, or OBC?
