  1. Here are some Trip advisor reviews of Crystal and her horse and carriage rides in St. George:

This is her facebook page and contact number is down a little on the right hand side:

It was a nice way to see St. George and get some history. Crystal is fun and entertaining - she took us all over, to the forts, the beach with the glass, her stable, told us about the homes as we passed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. $100 per hour.

  2. Does anyone know if this private ferry will be the same rates as the regular ferry or complimentary and funded by NCL (one can dream)?

When we were there (7-16 to 7-23 cruise) - it was complimentary. We were there the first day of operation after the breakdown so I had already bought tokens the first morning. Used them for Hamilton and gave the others to a favorite bartender.

  3. Thanks for asking we had a wonderful trip with great weather the whole time. Dial 7 texted us just as the flight landed and told us to text back when we got our luggage and were on the shuttle. The green shuttle is right outside in the center lane of where you pick up your luggage. The shulttles run frequently. There were two of them when we got out side. Plenty of people to point you in the right direction - not the green sign that says shuttles - that is for hotels, etc, - it is out the door the other direction of that sign. We got on the first green route shuttle and the only problem is waiting until they completely pack you in with luggage and all and no one to help with your luggage. It is only about a 5 minute ride to get to car services which are all lined up. Dial 7 gave us information to help us find the driver. He texted first car in the second row so it was pretty easy to find him. Car was labeled as Dial 7. I hope this helps and I hope you have as wonderful a trip as we did. Love NCL!

  4. So I called Dial 7 for a pickup at LGA. She said something about I have to take a shuttle to a parking lot of something to catch our car service. I really didn't understand what she was talking about - but she said it would be easy? Can anyone help. Southwest - pick up luggage and shuttle to where- any markers for this inconvenience due to construction?

  5. If I'm going to be on the Breakaway or Getaway, I would use one of my SDPs for Ocean Blue. There is an additional upcharge (maybe around $15/person with service charges), but it was the best meal we had on our last cruise.

Our other go-tos are Cagney's and La Cucina. While I wouldn't say that La Cucina is high-end Italian, we've enjoyed our meals there.

I agree with Brookie - We loved Ocean Blue and thought it was well worth the upcharge. Other than that we choose LeBistro and Cagney's.

  6. I see by the dailies that Cirque Dreams was held at 7PM on the first night. Was there another show as well?

We sail on 5/14 and the only times available are either 5:45PM or 9:00PM. Our only other option is 5/20 the night before we get off the ship. The other nights during the sailing we either have reservations for the MDR or one of the speciality restaurants.

    Thanks.

    MARAPRINCE

Maraprince - We did the 5:45 show on the first night on the Breakaway last year with no problem. We had an aft balcony, watched the complete sailaway, unpacked and still made the early show. We did not have to stand in line to get good seats either. Maybe we were just lucky or maybe not that many people had reserved that show for the first night. It was a great show. Good Luck!

  7. It's impossible to say for sure, as it varies from week to week.

The only given is that port side will get the NYC skyline on the sail out of New York. Many folks are out on deck at this time anyway, but if you prefer a quiet sailaway on your balcony, it may come into play.

Here's the Bermuda cruise ship schedule:

I thought it was starboard side for NYC skyline. Doesn't matter to us though - we'll be in an aft cabin:cool:.

  8. I give the room steward $20 on day one and ask for the fridge to be emptied out, for robes and ice every day. We also usually have a bar setup and need to get the mixers of our choice ( a lot of times they just give you anything and we want specific mixers). I will tip however it is deserved at the end of the cruise. Usually another $20 - sometimes more for extra friendly and prompt service.
