Hi Catch a Star,
As promised ,here are some pics of Suite E733 on Azura, which I think is the same as Ventura.
We loved this cabin, and its position over the Wake.
Yes,there is some vibration when docking, but nothing to worry about ....it was a great alarm call for us!
There is some overhang outside from above which caused shade late morning to mid afternoon, but after that, depending which direction your sailing,it was fine...lovely sunsets and sun rises.
The suit is very nice and plenty of room for everything, the bathroom is fantastic with full size jacuzzi bath and separate shower, and separate toilet on another room.
Canapés every evening with refilled ice bucket and lemon slices for your fab tipple, complements of your excellent butler.
Flowers,chicks and Champers added also.
On top of that, breakfast for suite guests on deck 17(Epicuren) was superb.
All in all, a lovely cabin and a great ship.
Hope the photos appear![

Just back off Azura yesterday.
We had suite E733 Aft.
You get 2 sun loungers ,a foot stool and a table with 4 chairs. The balcony was about 14ft wide and about 6ft 6 ins deep.
There is a beam running thru the balcony on the right side just by the lounge sliding doors which takes up a bit of space.
Because this suite is on the end,the balcony tapers off and starts to curve following the ships lines,so it gets slightly narrower on the left by about a foot.

Hi,just returned of Azura yesterday from Eastern Caribbean.
We had a suite,E733 Aft.
The cabin next door, was a standard cabin with a beam running through.
This cut the sitting space by at least 30% and made it look very small,so personally,I would not use a basic cabin at the Aft
Our first week sailing north,we had some sun early morning, but mainly shaded.
On our second week sailing back to Barbados,we had sun from about 2:00pm and sunset views.
There is a large overhang on e deck, but it gets slightly less as you go higher or so it seams.
We loved the Aft suite, although some vibration is experienced when docking, this was not a problem for us.It was great for sail aways, and very quiet from passing passengers.
Also the lifts in that area go straight to the planet bar and rear pool area where it's mainly adults

Hi,
We are flying to Caribbean in 2 days, and staying in that suite this Friday on the Azura.
I am almost sure it's the same design and size as Ventura,so I will post some info on my return if that helps.

Hi everyone.
I have 2 weeks to go before our cruise on the Azura around the Eastern Caribbean, starting and returning to Barbados.
Could anyone tell me if I can use US Dollars at all the Caribbean island,or do I need to take local currency.
I have just called in to my local Thomson travel agent, and they say,Barbados, for instance, you must use Barbados dollars,as their info screens does not mention that American dollars can be used. They said "it should be alright",but they are not too sure!
All the reviews I have read on this site, give me the impression that using American dollars is fine.
Many thanks

I agree,great pics.
We are off to the Azura for the first time on Feb6th,meeting her in Barbados.
The beaches look fantastic...any tips for the best ones I wonder?

Hi,what a great review of your cruise on the Azura.
We are doing what sounds like the same itinerary as you on Feb 5th,in 3 weeks..can't wait.
I hope we manage to pick the best beaches in the various ports, the "Boatyard" being one of them.

Hi everyone, first time on this site,so here goes!
I have a few questions if I may for our up and coming cruise on 5th Feb on the Azura.
We are flying to Barbados from Manchester on Friday 5th,on Thomsons Dreamliner.
Do they offer free drinks on board because it's a P&O charter. My TA say yes,but I've read from other members..no!
We are staying in a suite on board E733 Aft.
Has anyone had experience of the rest suits, including the one we have booked.
The balconies look large, although there is a slight obstruction running through some of them.
Also,it mentions there is a stereo of some sort in the suite.Does anyone know if this is a sound station with Bluetooth access for iPod/iPhone/iPad etc. This would be really helpful to find out..
Many thanks for your help.....great website by the way
Rob
