  1. That Princess ship is now Azamara Onward so Azamara and Oceania now have four of these eight ships each. The steam room in the men’s locker room is octagonal giving seven seats (plus the door). On Nautica (one of the Oceania ships) the seat divisions have been removed so that the seating is now one continuous bench. If Insignia has been refitted I guess it will be the same.

The locker room itself is quite small but has two fancy showers and a soft drinks cabinet as well as lockers etc.

Ahoy from the Oceania Riviera, currently at port in Ibiza !

The spa has separate men's and women's facilities along with some coed features. The steam/sauna/shower areas are totally separate. The steam is ironically smaller at 4persons max capacity than her smaller sister ships Sirena and Marina which seat 6 max. Those two however, do not have a dry sauna at all, and Riviera has a nice big one, probably could seat 8-10.  Surprisingly compared to my prior Oceania trips, this area has been busy every day, didnt see a single person in a suit or even covered. It was definitely chatty..it's like some odd wave of old school sanity washed over our ship 😂 .

Just to clarify, Riviera and Marina are identical (with steam room and sauna). The smaller ships (Sirena, Nautica, Regatta and Insignia) just have a steam room (larger as you say).

Good to hear the facilities are well used on Riviera. Will be on Marina in September and looking forward to it.

Yes, but Celebrity gutted the formerly wonderful sauna in Infinity and Summit and added about 10 cabins in that space. They did install a smaller (no window to the sea) single-sex sauna during their "upgrade" ☹ We're on Summit in mid-May.

I think Infinity (along with Constellation) still has the large sauna with window as the planned “upgrade”” was postponed owing to Covid. Millennium and Summit, however, had already been “upgraded” so now have the smaller windowless sauna.

I looked at that option but it seemed it wasn’t a supervised test - am I reading it wrong?  I just want to do it right and do it once.

The certificate says it is a self-test but does not say it is unsupervised (or supervised).  As I say it was accepted at the pier in Lisbon without query.

  5. All Oceania small ships (Insignia, Nauitica, Regatta and Sirena) are the same as the three Azamara ships. They do not have a sauna but there is a steam room in each locker room ( so single sex). It is octagonal in shape . The Azamara ships have seven seats but Nautica ( and I assume the others) have a single bench around the octagon and more could be seated without being squashed ( need to watch out for the steam inlet(s) under benches).

No clothing required. Most wore or sat on a towel. Not heavily used.

There are also two fancy showers which are quite nice. Oceania also provide a fridge with cold drinks in in the locker room.

Their larger ships (Marina and Riviera) have both sauna and steam room, both single sex and free. The sauna is quite large, the steam room smaller.
