  1. While it's not in the policy so I wouldn't expect it, we received our money back when we cancelled on the ship because our daughter had to much sun the day before.

I will also tell you I have done the kayaking excursion in Freeport and it was wonderful.

  2. Hi all - We are sailing at the end of January and although I've been on many cruises, this will be a first time for my kids. They are ages 8&9. We will visit both Nassau & Freeport. I'd like to plan some type of excursion for one of those days (taking a boat out to snorkel I think would be a cool experience for them). The other day I'd like to keep unplanned that way we can either decide to stay on the ship, or take a quick trip to the beach or town for awhile then get back on the boat.

Which stop do you think is better for an unplanned day vs a planned excursion? Any excursions you'd recommend? I'd rather book privately as opposed to through the ship.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The Freeport is far away from everything. It's mostly an industrial port so an excursion is best there. There's lots to do in Nassau with out an excursion.

  3. This is our fourth cruise. We were offered an up-sale for the last three but we didn't have a TA. I never took the others because they were for the owners suite and way to much. I was just curious if they even offered if you have a TA.

  4. It’s a huge 2 story catamaran. It’s a nice slow ride. Takes around 30 minutes total. It has a bathroom and a snack bar. We just went through Disney last month so if you have any specific questions I’ll try to answer them.

Thanks You! The smooth ride is a must. How about walking. Is there a lot of walking to the catamaran? She can walk she just can go fast.

  5. I have never felt the need to buy the internet package or even have use of my phone while on a cruise. This time my husband and I are taking our two girls. We would love to be able to communicate when we separated. What have others done?

    Thanks:)

  6. This is our fourth cruise. We have been on smaller ships, 2 times on the sensation and once on the imagination. This is the first time we are bringing our daughter who has significant special needs. I admit I am more than a little nervous. We haven't made plans for what we will do yet, but I know I want to take her to the beach. We have a younger daughter who will be with us as well. I will probably purchase a beach trip through carnival because my daughter can't walk long distances. I am just hoping to not be "that family" [emoji15]
