  1. If you are cruising for slides, I would choose the Getaway, Breakaway, Epic, or Escape. They have the best slides at sea easily, With the Epic having some pretty spectacular slides, and the Breakaway class having some thrilling slides as well. One side note, what you get with the slides, you give up on with the pools, but to me, I prefer slides any day. If I were you, pick one of the "away" class ships. Their specialty dining on the waterfront is pretty spectacular, and if you are cruising for the ocean, this will be a special ship, as it was our favorite out of 10 cruises.

Thank you so much! We will check it out!

  2. Yes, this isn't as unusual as you'd think. Whenever there's a booking promotion that includes dinner in a specialty restaurant, expect to be frozen out. This has happened to me a couple of times: completely booked a couple of hours after boarding (and before Muster.)

Speaking of booking promotions - how does that work? This is my first cruise ever and when we booked we got a free specialty restaurant meal. Are we supposed to book that ourselves or is it prearranged? And if we are supposed to book it ourselves, should we be doing this now since it seems everything could be booked pretty quick?

  3. Let's say I want to run down to the international cafe to get both me and my husband a specialty coffee on the morning while he's in the shower. Can I take both of our ship cards showing we both have the AIBP to get two drinks or do we both have to physically be present?
