  1. We had one of these cabins on our transatlantic in March, the cabin was great having booked a standard balcony and getting upgraded. We had more room than we needed, the champagne was OK the canapes went in the bin, we were not impressed at all. As a larger guy 6"2 and rotund, I found the robe tied at my chest rather than my middle, and upon asking was told they are all one size. Having the bath with shower over was great.

I think you will find it hard not to enjoy the cabin.

  2. We ordered two to be in our cabin on our last cruise.

Have to say we were very disappointing in them and got a refund.

The quality was not great, but the biggest problem for me was, as a big guy, six two and large build I found they tied closer to my chest than my waist so were of little use. We were told they only come in one size.

  3. We were on Azura in march for the transatlantic and ate in Sindhu twice.

We had not pre booked before the cruise and on both nights received a free bottle of wine as incentive.

Have to say we loved Sindhu.

  4. We returned from the trans atlantic on azura just a couple of weeks ago.

It all depends what you want to do, but we did Cosol tours on St Lucia which cost 70 dollars for the day including food and drinks (loads of drinks if you like)

I would strongly recomend this tour. We did Bernards tour on St Maarten at 40 dollars and again very good value. We took a local tour on Tortola at 20 dollars and was OK, and did the sub on Barbados and visited Mount gay rum.

We took 1500 dollars to spend as a couple and returned with nearly 1000. Having bought alchohol and cigarettes for home.

On Ponta del garda we walked and found gardens and spent next to nothing.

We are not big drinkers but did have a few bottles of wine on board, we also ate in sindhu twice £15 a time, epicurian £28 and beach house about £5 and all much enjoyed. All these and drinks came out of our onboard credit,£480 and we ended the cruise with about £150 left to spend in the shops.

We found it all to be very good value, both on and off ship.

  5. We have used staysure on a number of occasions and had to claim once when our son was too ill to travel. They paid out with little fuss. I found them very helpful.

they only paid out in the end when I plastered the internet about it

Is that why you have copy and pasted your other gripe on every thread on this forum, to get something back?

  6. It seems peoples concerns have reached the top.

This has been posted on P&Os facebook page.

    Good afternoon,

I know there has been a great deal of talk on our page about Saturday Night Takeaway and so I just wanted to take this opportunity to tell you exactly what is going to be happening on B608 on Britannia.

First of all, I really am so sorry that we have had to close the Arena. The Arena is a space which is used quite infrequently at this time of year and provided the ideal location for the storing of equipment by ITV.

As you know, we are not able to have under 12s watching the show on deck and primarily this is because of welfare concerns and also the length of time standing outside. However, we are putting together special screenings for children in the youth area which will be hosted by a special guest - it should be a really great evening for them. If you want to watch the show with your children then you can do so in the theatre or one of the other venues on board, many of which will have celebrity guests and I can guarantee will be a fantastic experience for you all.

For those of you who have said you don't want to watch the show at all then I hope you will take advantage of our two days in Barcelona and enjoy everything this amazing city has to offer with wonderful bars, restaurants and spectacular architecture. There will be complimentary shuttle buses from the ship into town which will run late into the evening.

We are also putting on lots of additional entertainment and special guests for the second week of the cruise - all will be revealed when you get on board but be assured that Saturday Night Takeaway is just one element of this two week holiday.

I do hope you have a fantastic holiday with P&O Cruises.

    Christopher Edgington

    Director, P&O Cruises

  7. We booked two HB grade cabins on B deck about a month ago for the March 18th Azura cruise on a select basis. We had asked for cabins next to each other. We assumed having adjacent cabins would lessen the chance of an upgrade. However we checked the E tickets last week to find we had been upgraded to a midships Superior balcony on D deck, two adjacent again, so were somewhat surprised but delighted. Strangely we have had no contact from either the TA or P&O to tell us of the upgrade.
