Just off Breakaway today and my favorite is one not in the menu - peach sickle. I miss those yummy drinks already!

Where do you buy the tickets once you dock? Are places that sell them within walking distance?

Thanks everyone for the info. Follow up question . . . . Do the room stewards put both beds away each day or leave them out? Is this something you will have to request if you want at least the top bunk put away? Thank you!

Hi, does anyone know if the sofa (bed) in a mini-suite on the Breakaway would be large enough for a 5 year old and a 2 year old to share when sleeping? I know there will be the bed that comes down from the ceiling but I would rather them share if it is big enough. Thanks for any information!

Sorry to ask a maybe obvious question but how do you know when a large group is booked on a particular cruise?

I recently bought insurance through NCL only because of the pre-existing clause. I was going to purchase through insure my trip.com but my MIL has been sick on and off again with liver failure and in and out of the hospital. Even though she is not traveling with us on our cruise, the people with insure my trip would consider her illness as a pre-existing condition and this would not allow us to recoup money if we had to cancel due to her being sick again. I even called 2 x and spoke with 2 different agents about this clause and both agreed.
When I called NCL's insurance company they said she is not considered as pre-existing for our purpose's because she is not traveling with us. So while the NCL insurance was more expensive, we decided to go with their insurance vs insure my trip in case we would have to cancel for my MIL's health.

Hi, when I called NCL early Feb., they told me as of May 1 all of The ships will no longer have Carlo's bakery.

I copied this post a few weeks ago and have tweaked it slightly. I am not passing any opinions on these changes - different strokes for different folks - just posting for info. for those who are new to this board.
Part of the problem with NCL's overall strategy is that it's a "death by a thousand cuts" rather than a couple of major changes. There have been lots of changes over the last year or so, so adding them all up means that people who booked very far in advance are getting a significantly different experience than what they thought they were getting. Also NCL's communication of these changes has been woeful - to both pax and staff.

Maybe a dumb question but will RC let you get a double serving of mashed potatoes instead of mashed potatoes and asparagus (for example) in the MDR. Or if you don’t like blue cheese dressing, can you get another type?
