When I booked our Allure of the Seas cruise, the Best Fare Guarantee was extended past final payment date. I received an on-board recently because the price had gone down on our cabin type. My travel agent had noticed the price difference and submitted for an adjustment. My travel agent told me that pre-Covid, the BFG adjustments happened only prior to final payment date, that the adjustment and onboard credit I received after final payment is a temporary promotion and to not count on this for future cruises. Hope this info helps.

Just finished a Brilliance OTS cruise in March. Had a great experience. Ship may be older, but certainly does not look it. Also, we were at capacity but ship usually did not feel crowded, especially in the Windjammer. On At Sea days, the pool decks were pretty crowded, though. If you want a better spot, get to the pool quickly.
Personnel were a bit nicer and even more responsive than usual RC experience, and that is saying a lot.
I thought the live music on this ship was much better than our other RC cruises (this was my 6th one).
Would definitely sail on this ship again.

Last year we used SPB. They were fantastic; we felt it was a great deal considering how much we saw and the excellence of our guide and driver.

How is RC about bringing a perishable on board? I use Activia to keep my guts in order, and I'd like to feel good when on this trip. Any advice? Thanks, all!

Will be in St. Petersburg 28-29 June, 2016. We like just about all the 2 day group tour itineraries that we see online, but are also interested in additional sites classical music lovers would be interested in - a tour of the Marinskiiy Theatre, Alexander Nevsky Monastery (composers' gravesites)and potentially the Rimsky Korsakov Conservatory.
We think we would have more fun in a small group rather than a private tour. Anyone know of a reputable tour operator that has a day tour with these sites? I have looked, but no luck so far.
Anyone interested in a group tour like this?
Thanks for your information!

We were very pleased with our experience; Luis is very personable and we had great conversations while driving around and seeing the sights. We requested seeing more local places and Luis took us to a local market, his local church, his favorite restaurant.. It was a very comfortable mix of staying with us and being a tour guide and at times waiting while we did things on our own. He also deftly guided us away from the more aggressive sellers of trinkets, much appreciated!
Highly recommend Tours Plaza and Luis!
