  1. OK, as others have echoed, I don't know about the whole nanosecond before you wanting it slogan, but sometimes its the simple things that mean the most. To give you an example, on one of our past cruises, I would always have a diet coke in the morning (sorry no coffee here). Well, the one morning, I went to take my diet coke out of the mini fridge/bar and it wasn't all that cold, so I left the cabin to run upstairs one deck to the café to grab a glass of ice. Well, it just so happens that our cabin attendant saw me and asked if everything was OK. I simply said that my diet coke was not all that cold and that I just ran upstairs to grab a cup of ice (no big deal). Of course he apologized for something which was not even his fault, but every morning after that when he delivered breakfast to our stateroom, he made sure that he also brought a cup of ice for my diet coke! Again, nothing earth shattering, but nonetheless it showed that he really did care to go the extra mile! I think you will be pleased with the level of service on Celebrity- they aren't perfect but who is? They must be doing something right, as we keep coming back to them time after time!

    Just my two cents...

  2. As it has been confirmed, higher end suites will now receive the premium beverage package for free. To my knowledge, those who purchase the premium beverage package get 20% OFF any bottles of wine that they purchase on board. Does anyone know if this same discount would be applied if someone in a higher level suite who got this beverage package for free still gets the 20% discount if they purchase a bottle of wine? Just was curious....

  3. I've read on the Celebrity site about the Butlers in the suites. We will be in a Royal Suite on Millennium in October (first time on Celebrity). Exactly what can we expect from our Butler? Is this a glorified steward or more than that?

    Thank you!!

    :) :)

A butler is much more than a glorified steward, they are there to take care of YOU, while the steward is there to take care of the cabin. This is actually one of the perks that keeps us coming back to Celebrity! I must warn you though, once you have cruised with a butler it can be difficult to adjust to not having one on your next cruise!!

Think of things (within reason) that would add to your cruising experience that you enjoy and simply ask your butler. Perhaps you would like a bridge tour or galley tour- just ask and they will do all they can to make it happen. Perhaps you would like a particular snack or drink every day delivered to the room, simply ask and it is done! For example, every night before dinner I would have our butler bring us 2 orders of escargot and fresh baked bread to our suite to enjoy with some wine while getting ready. Every morning he would set our table and bring us a full breakfast in our suite with anything we wanted (egg white omlette and diet coke was my fix). He also would ask each morning if we needed any of our clothes pressed that we planned on wearing each evening and would have them back in the closet by the afternoon. If you want or need to book spa or shore excursions, they can handle all this for you rather than you having to go to the desk and wait in line. Well, I think you get the point... In a word they are WONDERFUL:)
