  1. Can you substitute a free Bloody Mary instead of the free Mimosa in the Sabitini's breakfast, or if I choose to order a Bloody Mary, will they charge for that (assuming I haven't purchased the beverage package)?

Also, if I just wanted pancakes and bacon, is it possible to order that at the Sabitini's breakfast?

  2. We will be on the Coral a week from today for a Panama Canal Cruise. I see that rain is in the forecast for some of the ports we will stop at. We are from Seattle, and our idea of dressing for rain is probably very different than how you dress for rain in the Caribbean, South America or Mexico.

We would appreciate recommendations on what to wear specifically for rain during shore excursions in these ports. Do you pack a small umbrella only? Inexpensive poncho? Lightweight raincoat? Your suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

  3. My wife and I are planning to bring two bottles of wine each on board the Coral later this month. It is my understanding than one bottle per person may be carried on without a charge.

For the second bottle that we'll each carry on board, what is the current charge per bottle for carrying it on board?

  4. I'm seeking clarification on one thing..

We have reserved shore excursions and massages for our upcoming cruise departing in April. Can we use our OBC to pay for these services, even though we made the reservations prior to the cruise? (I thought I saw someone mention that you cannot use OBC to pay for services reserved prior to the cruise...hope I'm wrong about that.)

  5. We will be doing a Panama Canal cruise beginning mid-April from Ft. Lauderdale to Los Angeles. We have never been in high-humidity climates before, and are wondering what precautions or measure, if any, do we need to take with our iPhones. We are planning to take our phones with us on our shore excursions (Aruba, Cartagena, Puntarenas, San Juan del Sur, Huatulco, and Puerto Vallarta...as well as out on deck during our transit of the canal).

Will our phones be adversely affected by the humidity? Will the lenses fog up? Is there anything we can or should do to counteract the humidity? Would there be any benefit to bringing those silica gel packets for storing the iPhones in our stateroom when not in use...or is that unnecessary?

Same questions apply to our binoculars, which we will be using out on our balcony.

Any thoughts or tips would be appreciated. Thanks.
