I have been on NOS 4 times this year and there was a Latin band on every one of those cruises. It did alternate with the country band in Boleros. No pre-reserving of any shows on NOS.

Thanks, we will be on NOS next sailing and very much like dancing Latin, C&W and Swing. I see Bubba Feathers is onboard, so that is good. :)

Bummer about the A/C on Nav. We will be onboard in two weeks. I like it cool all the time.

We are prepaid at Park N Cruise. We did receive the same email from Jason at EZ Cruise too. I wonder if the city lot has too many empty spots? :rolleyes:

would you recommend doing a ship excursion to Chukka or do you think it can be done independently?

We are booked to sail on the Allure Western Caribbean at Easter.:D We have done this route before many years ago but not with our daughter who will be 10. Just looking for some advice really as to what others think is the best excursion that RCCL offer from this stop. My husband doesn't want to climb Dunn's River Falls again and for some fun for my daughter I was thinking about the tubing along the river??

We enjoyed the Chukka (at Falmouth) ATV Safari which is not far from the port. Also, Chukka has other activities near Falmouth. You can get reviews on TripAdvisor. Have a great time! SB

Deck 10...aft cabins are our favorite too. Never had noise from WJ. SB

Also, check your roll call and find out if a slot pull event is organized on your cruise. SB

We would probably go mid April - early May. Last cruise to Greek Islands was mid May to June 1st and was very hot the last week. SB

We now use Park N Cruise and walking distance to cruise terminal. They don't have shuttles since they are across the street (~10 min walk). EZ Cruise and Lighthouse parking are other options, which have shuttles. We have used them in the past with no issues. SB

I have been there two times, not on a cruise ship, both guided tours. The ruins are very nice and very popular. The first time, they let you climb the stairs inside the pyramid, but last time...no. Inside the pyramid is a black jaguar carved out of stone with jade gems for eyes...awesome. You still can climb the steps on the outside. Tour guides tell you the life of the Maya people as you tour the site. Yes, it would a good excursion. Take lots of water, it's hot. Enjoy your cruise! SB

We are hoping for some good C&W, swing and latin music in the clubs for dancing. I believe Bubba Feathers Band re-boarded Navigator last Sunday, but not sure how many weeks their gig lasts (?)

We are planning on spending the day at the Melia AI north of town on our upcoming NOS Halloween cruise. We stayed there for a week several years ago. It has a nice sandy beach and not "iron shore" ocean entry where you need water shoes. They have activities, but not a party atmosphere. You can Google Melia Cozumel day pass for more info. Great video! We have stayed at Secrets Maroma two times. It's all adults, 30 min south of Cancun airport and a great resort! Maroma beach is fantastic! SB

You can also get a day pass at the Melia Resort (all inclusive) north of town. The beach is very nice! SB
