Hoping someone has an answer especially for the new menu.
DH and I are booked for this next week and he has a shellfish allergy.

In my haste and excitement I forgot to add the link.
-
Ooohhhh....I found a link to cruise drinks!
Planning now!
-
What's a Kiss on the Lip?
Maybe if it's an unusual drink, describe it?
I'm not trying to be a PITA but I'm excited about our upcoming cruise and would like to try new tasty drinks!
(Obviously I know about Pina Coladas and Dacquiris.....maybe not how to spell haha)
Thanks in advance!

Clarification.....so with FTTF they allow you into the TERMINAL earlier than your chosen check in time? I'm confused since I assume the terminal is run by the Port of Miami not Carnival so they wouldn't accept or honor FTTF?

We'll be in Cozomel from 12pm to 10pm.
We'll be at Nachi Cocom until we're tired of it or they close.....that will very likely leave us 5 hours or so remaining in Cozomel.
We're planning on just returning to the ship, resting, showering and getting ready for dinner.
Is there anything we would be missing out on in Cozomel?
That day is our actual anniversary and I want to make sure we don't miss out.
(Not to be taken the wrong way. ...we've got that down to a science LoL)
-
Anyway I'm thrilled beyond belief to have had the call even though err declined.
Life is good!
-
Thanks for the Link!
1060 more is a lot better than I thought it would be but I'd already determined I wouldn't go above 500 though DH said 700-800.
I just don't think we NEED it to be happy and content.
This is our FIRST CRUISE EVER.
Again about the balcony. ...I KNOW no one can see us on the Grand Suite balcony but wasn't assured that is the case with this one.
Is it?
-
Ooops dup
-
Well we declined.
It would have been a total of $1,060 additional for both of us (total....not per person or per night.)
I may regret it but I don't at this point.
Actually doesn't sound like a horrible deal....the interior is GORGEOUS but I'm rather fond of that private balcony we'll have without an obstructed view and no noise from the Lido or the joggers above.
Hoping someone snatches this up and enjoys!
-
If Google is right this is way over our price range.
Either way I shall report back tomorrow and give an update.
It was a very exciting 2 hours thinking "maybe" & "what if".....
Reality slowly sinking in lol.
And neither balcony appears at all private. ...obviously the one overlooking Lido isn't but I was HOPING the ocean balcony would be.
-
And anyone have a CLUE how much this may be?
-
Thanks for the info.
What about the balcony overlooking the ocean?
Is it private?
That's what I like about the balcony with the Grand Suite. ....the balcony is pretty private.
-
Just saw an email received earlier today for an upgrade "at a discounted rate" from our Grand Suite to The Owner's Suite.
The pictures are AMAZING!
I won't find out until tomorrow when I call exactly how much more it would be.
Input?

More than 2 weeks but less than 3!

Don't remember everything. I had the scallop appetizer and the ravioli in a vodka sauce. IIRC DH had prime rib(?). I know ribs are on the menu as our waitress brought out an order for us. (We've sailed with this waitress many times. It's become a standing joke with this waitress because one time, several years ago they were icebox cold.)

Thanks!

Can anyone tell me what they serve on a 4 night cruise on elegant night?
-
We're confirmed for Chef's Table and plan on doing behind the fun as well.
I'm excited!
-
I received an email confirmation for our July cruise and it says the Chef's Table is at 6pm the FIRST night.
I posted about this on the Fantasy thread.
We sail at 4pm
Chef's Table is at 6pm.
Crazy!
-
I just received email confirmation of our reservations for The Captain's Table.
What's interesting to me is that we leave July 25th and had heard from others on this board the Chef's table is generally on Sea Day which would be the 28th.
Our email says Captain Table is the 25th at 6pm.
So it'll be the day we embark?
We depart Miami at 4pm.
So it'll be 2 hours after we sail?
I'm just surprised.
Btw, anyone know where Chef's Table is held on The Fantasy?

We are sailing her in July and it's also our first cruise ever and our Anniversary.
I finally upgraded to a suite just because we're going to want some private time and a nice place to escape crowds since this trip is about us.
It was double the cost but I'm not sure we'll ever do this again so in the end I am hoping it's worth it.
No real advice here but we're in the same boat LOL.

Thanks for the info!
Poll-Whats your first drink order

Well TOMORROW is my first cruise EVER and this is what I have decided on.
DH has decided to have a Mocha Chocolate Getaway.
Glad to hear someone else likes a Dirty Banana.
Never had one....sounds delicious!
