He does not as long as the rooms are next door or across the hall from each other. I have booked my children in a cabin by themselves as 18 and 15 year olds, they just had to be close to me.
Is that something you were able to do booking for yourself, or did you have to go through carnival to make that happen? When I put a hold on a reservation, it wouldn't accept it until I put in my info (or someone over 21).
Â
**across the hall is where we'd want them. We're hoping for a balcony for ourselves & an interior for them.

Is it possible to book my husband and I in a room and our 2 boys in another room to take advantage of the Cheers To You offer? Our oldest will be 18 at the time of sailing and we'd like to put him as the primary on their room and then my husband and I in the other room, so we both get Cheers.
Â
Does he have to be 21 to be a primary on a room?

We were on the Breeze the final sailing before dry dock and we didn't have anything that was shut down, no work beginning ahead of time, etc. The only thing we did notice was there were chairs wrapped in plastic in the theater (on the upper level) on debark day and that there were no crowds trying to drop off luggage or check in while we were heading out.

Running stairs at the football field (not just for the cruise, but it sure helped).

I took individual size cold brew bags. I might have been pretty grouchy without decent tea. 😉

Nope, still getting the technical difficulties message.
Â
I tried the link above and click on the "create an account", but the first question is "what kind of policy do you have". :\

I've tried for days to set up an account on the app and keep getting a message that there's technical difficulties. I've deleted and reinstalled and still the same. Is there another way? What I saw on the website required a policy to sign up.

My boys aren't ones to wear slacks, but the older doesn't mind dark jeans and a dress shirt/tie. When we went on the Breeze in April I didn't get the impression he'd be underdressed (it was our first - and the kids didn't go...but we're taking them next May)
-
Thanks everyone. I have several ideas floating around in my head, but thankfully still have time to figure it out. :)

My husband and I went on the Breeze in April and after we got home, we decided to do it again - but take the kids this time. The cruise is booked, but we're hoping to wait until Christmas to tell them (sailing next May). I'm looking for fun ways to share the surprise when the time comes.

I/we don't any condition that requires a fan, we just sleep better with one. I found an email for the special needs department, gave them my name, booking info, dates and whatnot and just asked for a fan. I got a response within a few hours that said we would have one when we arrive. We'll see. We leave in 2 weeks.
-
We sleep with fan noise, and instead of using valuable packing space for a fan, I just contacted the special needs department of Carnival and should have a fan waiting in our room.

Slightly off topic, but we've never cruised before (scheduled for April 2017). What is the appeal or benefit of purchasing liquor on board? We gave prepurchased a bottle and it was far more expensive than it would have been at home, but carrying on liquor obviously isn't an option. If you don't get your onboard purchase until the last night, and it isn't to be consumed before leaving, what is the benefit? Does the ship sell at better prices later in the cruise? Do they sell options that aren't readily available in the states?

I priced a session in cozumel with nacho cocoum. It was $49 for the digital images, edited and on disc before leaving the beach.

I believe it was the special needs dept. -- specialneeds at carnival dot com

We haven't cruised before, but keep our house cool (70-72) and always sleep with a fan. I wasn't too interested in taking up valuable luggage space with a fan, so I contacted Carnival to request one... within a day or two I had an email confirmation that one would be waiting for us when we boarded.
-
I've done all of the check in for our April date. It's one less thing to do later and I can print the info just before we leave.
-
It sure is. Call them up and cancel.
Â
thank you!!

A while ago I purchased a bottle of liquor for our April 2017 cruise. I'm rethinking it now and debating on CHEERS. Is it possible to cancel the bottle if we decide to do CHEERS instead?
-
That's what I was hoping for! Things like towels and flip flops if we want to do the waterside...Or books, sunscreen type things if we wanted to venture into the water on a beach day (all inclusive places are on our list rather than public beaches, in case that makes a difference). It's just my husband and myself and I would hate to feel lime we have to take turns experiencing things just to keep an eye on our things.
Â
Maybe we just need to make some new friends ;)

Is it pretty safe to leave your things unattended for short periods of time both on ship and on various excursions (for example, with a chair on the beach, or on the boat while with the sting rays)? I haven't read much about having to secure things like this, but I thought I would ask.
Â
** we will probably carry cash, credit cards, sign & sail cards in our pockets. Mostly what would be unattended would be things like towels, books, etc.
-
Took 2 weeks for our two new passports, and that included Memorial Day in the middle.
-
I write checks and don't have a debit card. I don't anticipate needing to cash a check on board, but there are still some of us that use them.

Watching constantly for our April 2017 date. :/ I only want to book one with Carnival, but sure would like to see my options sooner rather than later!

Thank you. I'll have to set it up through them, I guess. I was hoping to avoid having to do it that way, but if it's necessary, I'll give it a go.
