I am curious as well. I forgot that it will be Mardi Gras on my cruise!

There may be some confusion between "aft balcony" and "aft-facing balcony".
The aft-facing balconies are different depths depending on deck. An aft-facing balcony on deck 11 will have 2 loungers.
Certain side balconies are large enough for a lounger and some are not. On deck 11, most side balconies will not have room for a lounger. Some exceptions are the angled balconies such as 11182/11782, 11296/11896, etc. and the aft-most balconies (11310/11910).
Thank you! I am in an Aft-facing balcony for my February 25th cruise.

We did not have loungers on the balcony, only two chairs and a little table. Not sure if others had loungers though
Thank you, that definitely will be something I request when I get on.

Stateroom: We had an AFT balcony on the 11th floor. We loved this location...felt very centralized. Our room steward was great. We didn't see him much, but our room was always clean and had a bucket of ice waiting for us.
I will be in an Aft balcony on the 11th floor for my upcoming cruise. Were there loungers on the balcony?

Thank you, this is just what I needed!

Thank you everyone. I was trying to research but unfortunately most threads are about if you can take your elderly mother or infant to the baths or reviews of the actual excursion. I just wanted some specifics like if you could walk, how long vs. taxi. Thanks for the info!

Is Speedy's walking distance from the port where the Escape docks?
Also, Once you are at Valley Virgin Gorda, are the Baths right there or do you have to walk a ways?
I just don't want to be wandering around not knowing where I am going.
Thanks!

I want to go to the Baths but do not want to pay the cost through NCL. Does anyone have a step by step guide on how to do this? I will be in port at 7am, leaving at 3pm on NCL Escape. Thank you in advance for your information!

Thank you everyone for your quick replies!

I was on the Star back in April and had a favorite bartender that I would see throughout the ship because he would rotate to different bars. Is this the case for the Escape as well?
-
If you are on the Escape or similar you can also make reservations on your room TV or on the touch screens throughout the ship.
If I remember correctly yes you can use IConcierge.
Thank you! Yes, I am on the Escape... forgot to mention that!

I have searched and searched for this answer but CC search and Google failed me. I am sure it has already been asked but here I go...
Can I make reservations for Headliners and the Supper Club on the iConcierge app or do I HAVE to go to the reservation desk when I first get on the ship?

Reporting back from my Transatlantic on the NCL Jade - many bars had "premade" giant carafes for certain cocktails, and I was only rejected once on the cruise to a "please stick to the menu" request by a bartender at the martini bar when I asked for the "cagney's speakeasy martini" on a particularly busy night at the martini bar. I did not have a "prior relationship" with that bartender, though, so if I really really wanted to I could have taken the elevator up 6 floors or so to the "star bar" which is right next to cagney's and could have got one - or I could have found my "favorite waiter" Phillip in the upstairs lounge (who I made sure to grease with an extra dollar the first few days each time I ordered a drink) and I am sure he would have accommodated me.
Some of the premade stuff isn't bad - mostly in the frozen sweet drinks. But to avoid it elsewhere, I found no premade carafes in ..... the casino, of course. The bartenders there were knowledgeable and made stuff fresh when I was there. I am also sure that prior greasing of a specific bartender would (most likely) get you the drink you want.

Google Escape Menus and beyond ships 2 has sample MDR menus.
The ship has about 10 menus that the rotate through (i.e. on a 7 day cruise, you won't see all the different menus).
Aren't those the menus from December 2015?

I didn't realize on my last cruise in April there was a step-up and I stubbed my freshly pedicured toes on it. Now I warn my friends and family so they do not make the same mistake!

I thought you had to pay extra for the Oh What a Night show in the Supper Club on the Escape but every once in a while I come across a review saying it was free... does anyone know?
Also, I was going to book this in advance (if you can), would it tell me if it was complimentary or not?
Any information is appreciated!

Do it! I've never done a Studio, but I am going on the Escape for my 26th birthday this February (seems like a good ship to celebrate on). I am practically solo on my cruises because I ditch my family to hang out with other people I meet, usually at bars. It is very easy to make friends and I would assume easier when you are in the Studios as everyone is solo.
I like to read lots of posts on here and it seems like there will be a good mix in the studio cabins of men and women of all ages. Also, I would join in on the roll call to chat with some people ahead of time, maybe go to the M&G.

Thank you everyone! I was thinking they would bring it out separately, but knowing it comes before the meal is cooked for everyone else, we probably will skip it.

DBF is lactose intolerant but wants to go to Teppanyaki for dinner. I am pretty sure that they put butter in the fried rice. Has anyone ever had a special dietary need at Teppanyaki and how do they handle it?

There are 84 different beers in the bar. You sign up on the first day and you try as many different beers as you want throughout the week. There is a leaderboard so you can see each day what position you are in.
PS. No cheating allowed........ like some people who take a full beer to the ladies toilet and come back with an empty glass.
Thank you so much!!!

I need to know more about this drinking challenge at District... DBF would be extremely interested!!

Get this, Dark and Stormies are now back and included in the UBP but no other drinks made with Goslings.
You made my day! Thank you!
