  1. I was on the April 5th sailing and had a ball. I only ate at the buffet and O'Sheehans and loved the food in both places. I found all the crew to be very friendly and helpful. I was on the Breakaway in October and I would prefer the Breakaway over the Epic because I like to relax sitting looking out at the sea and I loved the waterfront area on the Breakaway. The Epic is also a bit drab looking with a lot of brown carpets and decor. Would this stop me sailing on her again......absolutely not! I will sail on any ship with studio cabins as it makes it affordable for me.

  2. I just got off the Epic yesterday and loved Second City. I've seen Second City in Chicago, Las Vegas and on the Breakaway a couple of months ago and the troupe on the Epic really impressed me and were much better than the troupe on the Breakaway. I went to see them numerous times this cruise and I also loved the stand up comedian Drew Frees.

I assumed Second City wouldn't be coming to Europe. I'm not American but I like American Comedy and culture so I got all the references mentioned in Second City but I can see why they might not appeal to a lot of Europeans.

  3. Today is Friday March 6, 2015 and it is 8:21pm. After many, many calls to NCL to find out what our entertainment would be, as well as when we will be able to book entertainment for our cruise less than 30 days out.

-Burn the floor is apparently getting transitioned in for our cruise!![/quote

Oh WOW! So we're getting Burn The Floor after all. That just made my day. I was gutted about losing Blue Man Group as I'm a big fan after seeing the show several times. But I'm an even bigger fan of Burn The Floor. Saw the show in NY and also on The Breakaway. I'm a fan of Dancing with the Stars and dance in general so Burn The Floor is right up my street.

  4. It makes me feel just a little bit like the red headed stepchild. Our cruise should be just a important as everyone else's and they should already have given us a heads up about the entertainment or lack thereof.

I totally agree. I know I'm going to have a great time but I feel a bit hard done by. I'm a big fan of Blue Man Group and with so many ships having similar itineraries, BMG was one of the reasons I chose the Epic. The entertainment is really important to me on a cruise.

  5. I love Million Dollar Quartet. I first saw it in Chicago and have seen it a few times in Las Vegas too. I'm a fan of Justin Shandor, I first saw him perform in Las Vegas about 15 years ago and I love him in MDQ.

Martin Kaye who plays Jerry Lee Lewis in the Las Vegas production is excellent. He used to perform in the piano bar on the Caribbean Princess and was outstanding, such a showman. That piano bar used to be packed every night to see him.

  6. Great to hear a positive review! I'm on the April 5th sailing. Can't wait! I was on the Breakaway in October and there were some great singers who used to perform in the atrium. Does the Epic have anything similar?

I'm not planning on doing any excursions so I was wondering if the ports are nice to stroll around. I haven't been to Cozumel before. I've been to Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios before but I just did ship excursions that brought me to and from the ship so I didn't get the chance to explore the area around the cruise ports

  7. Thanks Marciemi, I'd really appreciate that. I've been scouring the internet but haven't managed to find any. Could you also do me a favour and try to find out what show will be replacing Blue Man Group for the April 5 & 12 sailings. BMG finishes on the March 29th sailing but it's replacement (Burn The Floor) doesn't start until April 19th.
