If you buy Chops after you have sailed, what is the price, if you buy befor the cruise it is showing $39.00
-
it's a good size for a 13" laptop screen. It does not require you to scroll side to side.
Looks good on a 17 inch laptop and looks really good on a 28 inch 4K desk.

Since the title of this message string was "Galveston Terminal #2 Opening" I had hoped there might actually be some useful information about the updated terminal and whether it has improved for the passengers. Guess not. :(
Last Sunday was the 1st day it was open, after she arrives back this Sunday we should have more information, I Hope.

More RCCL cruises from Galveston
Royal Caribbean added some new Vision of the Seas sailings in 2017, from Galveston, Texas.
The new sailings are available for booking now, and include 4- and 5-night cruises to destinations in Mexico.
Sailing dates begin on November 6, 2017 and extend through the end of December.

Will all the RCCL cruises be departing from a new terminal or is this just a refurbishment of the existing terminal?
I'm trying to sort out my driving route for our July 3 2016 cruise and had planned to come down 21st street, but if the Terminal is in a different location...
The new terminal is just next to the existing one.

Sure will Ron. Hope you are doing well?
You know last year was not good, but this year is great, just came back from a trip to Amsterdam yesterday.
-
Lee, let us know when you hear anything on when the terminal opens.

Odd, I see the last post as March 30, 2016.
Would help if I went to last page, on the open screen it was only show page 1 and 2 so like a dumb a**, I hit 2 and just went to last post on that page, again, Thanks Bob
-
Last I heard it was supposed to be ready by May 1.
Here is a running thread on the subject:
Last post on that thread was last July, no help there.
Thanks Bob, if anyone would know it would be you :)

Can anyone tell me if RCCL is using the new terminal yet??

Hi, Spring! How's it going?:) I'll be flying to HOU next Saturday and cruising on Liberty b2b, then home a week and John and I doing Brilliance TA.
Looks like you will be getting off as I board. Will up date this if new info comes out before next week, I am off to Amsterdam Monday but will be back Friday.

We tried Liberty two years ago and wasn't impressed. We did a back-to-back cruise - first with Regal Princess followed by Liberty. Big mistake. Should have stayed at Regal Princess instead.
The food at Liberty was terrible, too much MSG. The buffet food was bad with limited selection. Sticky floor everywhere.
However, the shows were good especially the figure skating show which was better than the one at Oasis of the Seas. We watched the figure skating show twice and got our cruise money back. The dancing floor on deck 2 (or deck 3) was terrible. So sticky that we can't dance. No one will clean the floor. The staff just didn't care. They only cared to sell you drink.
We were bored on the Liberty at sea. After Liberty, we have been hesitating to go back to Royal Caribbean's ships. Food quality and service are our main concerns.
If you love Princess so much, why are you here on RCCL?

Terrible idea of letting non-gold cards into Chops for breakfast. This has been one of our favorite perks. Just off SR where breakfast was delightful with several servers. Last Dec. I was advised that gold cards could go to any ice show, not just the muster assigned ones. Is that still the case on LB? I certainly hope so. Glad to see LB still has golf!
Yes

Not true, I linked us with our friends reservation number when I called Royal Caribbean and we have MTD.
I do it on almost ever cruise, and I always have MTD.
-
We always do My Time Dining and travel with my brother and wife. If we book a cruise on board - that is when we link our reservation. When we book at home, I must request the 2 reservations to be linked and then the RCCL agent calls my brother and asks if it is, "OK". We find it is easier to link our reservations. I cannot find anyway to link from our computer:confused:
If you make reservation, it will ask if you would like to add another party, just put in there booking number and it is done.
