Just returned May 27 and had NCL transfer to LGA. Did not arrive at airport until about 11:00 am. We were told not to book flight within five hours of ship arrival time. The bus ride was about 35 - 40 minutes once we left the pier.

After going through customs, you will need to find an NFL representative in a yellow vest. This was honestly one of the most disorganized event of the entire cruise. No one seemed to actually know where to send us. We were first sent upstairs, then told to go back downstairs. Then had to find someone to tell us where to go for the bus.

We did the Baltic cruise with NCL in May 2016. St Petersburg was the highlight of the trip.

We used Guide Guru for our two tours (1) the 1 day tour of St Petersburg and (2) the Vodka Canal Cruise in the evening.. We were told to expect up to 6 in our group. It was only my wife and I, plus the driver and the tour guide. Effectively, we got a private tour, and both were amazing.

Will answer my own question about using a VPN - Doesn't work.

Actually the entire internet experience was about what I had expected, sub-par. Can't really complain because I was forewarned.

We are sailing on the Star on May 24th - Baltic Capitals.

Has anyone had any issues with using a VPN with the on-board Wi-Fi? I know some services (hotels, etc) block the use of VPNs.
