  1. Regarding the car seat issue, you might look into bringing along travel booster seats like mifold if your children meet the size requirements for booster seats. We put these in our backpack for our last trip and used it for our 6 year old.  We are planning our 2020 Alaska trip too!

  2. Our group of 9 used them in June of this year and had a great experience. We did one of the Outback tours on a boat that can have 14 people max. The captain got us really close to a group of orcas, as well as many humpback whales. We also went close to seals, sea lions, and eagles. There were water bottles and snacks (granola bar types) on board. It was about 3 hours out on the water. They were also able to accommodate a pickup of our group from Mendenhall. Was one of the highlights of our trip! So much better than the whale viewing you experience from the cruise ship. I would recommend them. So many great photos. The captain also does whale tours in Hawaii in the winter months and had some interesting information to share about whales in both Alaska and Hawaii.

  3. When I contacted Orca at the end of March, I received a prompt reply from Dolphin stating:

"Orca Enterprises has been purchased by Dolphin Jet Boat Tours; all of our tours, with complete descriptions and online booking with live availability and instant confirmation, can be found at http://www.dolphintours.com. Our boats vary in size from 18 to 36 passengers (pictures on the website), and are enclosed and climate-controlled with large windows for a 300-degree view, outside decks, indoor restroom, snacks and hot/cold beverages."
