  1. Mobile has a couple new ports of call. We are going on the Fantasy April 29, 2018 out of Mobile, going to Cozumel and Grand Cayman, its a 6 day. Mobile also has an 8 day going to Costa Maya, Belize, Mahogany Bay, Cozumel and Progreso April 21, 2018. We like the Fantasy and live in Mobile, so it is convenient. We have also been on the Dream out of NOLA and enjoyed it as well.

  2. I do not consider myself a big drinker but got Cheers! for my Four day on the Triumph last week. Day one I came out just a little ahead of even, a couple drinks with lunch, one at the bar before dinner and another to carry to dinner, and a couple late in the casino. The other days it really paid off. We love the drinks at Alchemy so would go there at four when they opened for one, right before dinner at six to take to the dining room, one before the comedy show at 1030 or 1100 and one more right before they closed at midnight. At 10.50 each it only took one more frosty or fruity drink to break even. We also had at least $10 of coffee/shakes/vitamin water a day and several drinks at the slots each night. Plus wine at dinner once or twice and a ting mojito with our Huevos rancheros on sea days.

Ok, maybe I WAS a big drinker for a few days. [emoji41]

This is us! We do not consider ourselves to be big drinkers, but we are going with the CHEERS program. We might just be big drinkers for a few days as well ;)

  3. We enjoyed the Atlantis day pass excursion. We were cruising with 3 kids, 8, 13 and 18 and everyone enjoyed the day. It was a short bus ride and we felt like we had plenty of time to enjoy Atlantis.

  4. We were assigned our room around 60-70 days out from sailing, balcony guarantee. We were assigned a balcony on the upper deck, got an email today 54 days out asking if we wanted to upgrade to panorama deck for $40.00. We went with it. Not that we were unhappy with the room we were assigned, we just figured it was a good deal for us. We originally book an inside cabin, a month or so later the rates for a balcony were cheaper than our interior so we changed to the balcony guarantee and ended up with $140.00 OBC. We are sailing on the Dream in June. :) Can't wait!

  5. I called carnival as the "group leader" to book more than 8 cabins. I was told that it depended on the cruise that we picked. Some cruises offered amenity points and some did not. The points could be used for credit towards the price of a cabin, split up between all parties or could be used for OBC, robes, or a wine basket in each room. If amenity points are offered you could keep all of them or split them up with the group. The group leader got to decide. We ended up booking in June on the Dream and it did not offer any amenity points. Our PVP said that some of less popular cruise dates will offer the most amenity points to get groups to book.
