I play craps and mostly slots. I think in August 2015, my net loss is probably $1500-$2000; however, I was going for the points of at least 7500 points, and exceeded. Last week on Freedom, I earned at least 10K points so I should be receiving offer again.

I play in Vega$ and have comps at Cosmopolitan and others, but now that I tried cruising, I would rather "pre-pay" for my cruise with wife and kids than going to Vega$ solo.

Wow so your offers dropped. Do you check your points at the end of the cruise?

Might I ask what your game was... and did you experience a significant loss, or have a high level of play?

 

I'm always amazed at what/why/how/whom this offer goes to. I'm often getting multiple thousands/night at the tables and can frequently donate a rather large amount over the course of a cruise, yet my Premier offers have gone from "Free balcony w/$1,000 cash" to some % off an oceanview lately.

 

It actually feels as if they are slapping me in the face... no matter though, as you'll note in my signature, I've found that there are plenty of other ships on the sea! :D

I was surprise when casino rep on Elation offered me free cruise during my last night playing on my first family cruise ever in August 2015. It was a FREE cruise and needed to be booked within 3-weeks, which I did not take.

I received a black envelope about 3-weeks ago from Carnival, and I almost threw it away. My wife is the one that check those stuff. It's good offer so I booked 5-cruises.

Considering I maintain at least 7500 casino points, will carnival send this type of offer quarterly? I wasn't expecting anything, but it's great free (port/tax) this summer.

The great thing about 3rd party insurance is that you can insure everything, not just the cruise, and you choose your level of coverage. It's also a lot cheaper than going directly through the cruise line. I'm pretty sure you can purchase it at any time prior to the trip, however it will only cover preexisting conditions if it's purchased within 21 days. USAA's travel insurance comes highly recommended. I will be using it myself for an upcoming cruise. The peace of mind is definitely worth it IMO.

One cruise when I went to the cashier to get my cash they said I only had $100 coming but my offer was for $1,000....showed them my actual offer and they were like Sorry Sir here's your $1,000

I'm pretty sure these are regular premier cruise. The offer for the "Ultra" premier usually comes out in August and sails late November to early December.

These is a special premier check in line at the port (once you go through security with everyone else), unless you are diamond or platinum and then you go to the captains lounge to check in. On the first night there is usually a cocktail party at 5 PM. After the casino opens just take your sail and sign card and photo ID to the casino cashier for your $500. Some kind of gift will be delivered to you cabin most days and you should find your drinks on us card in your cabin upon arrival. Chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, a bottle of wine, ect. You'll also get reminders of the daily premier events in the casino. For all events you must be present to win if your name is called. That about sums it up. Hope it helps.
