  1. Hi

Arriving in AC 29th Jan and looking to either hire a taxi for the whole trip out of port or a few separately - we are looking to go to the cable car and up to the gardens, then into PP town, and then to a good beach for a couple of hours (Sousa? - sp?)...maybe also the promenade....

any advice on rates and our best option.....

    Many thanks

many thanks but I am confused by your post - you mention that the Eastern Cab gives better beaches, which is why you have booked in jan on Azura - but the Brittania trip including Curacao & Aruba is described by P&O as an "Eastern Cab" trip - the azura is just labelled "Cab" and goes north up through BVI to Dominican Rep.....

    Have I missed something?

  3. Hi, my wife and I have just returned from a Med tour on Oceana and want to book the Caribbean next Jan for some summer sun. We want to go with P&O so I have a choice of 2 ships.....Azura or Brittania.....but which is best?

Here's what I have found out so far (sorry for random facts):

Azura - 2010, 3100pax, route takes in BVI (so quieter and more beachy), CC rating is best of P&O ships (users); Superior balcony cabins overlooked from above :o(....outside cinema (good?)

Brittania - 2015, 3600pax, route takes in Dutch Antiles (so more history), CC rating worst among users, best from Editor; slightly cheaper (£200pp); no promenade deck :o( Reviews generally sniffy on space, crammed sun-loungers, cinema and suprisingly on food.....

So....I'm leaning toward Azura for the boat but Britannia for the itinerary.....any advice gratefully received (we haven't been on either boat or to the Caribbian before.....)
