This is our first time cruise does the Carnival Sunshine provide towels for the pool and beach or do we need to bring our own?

Also we are doing the 8 night eastern Caribbean cruise would we need sickness tablets or will we be okay we have cabin 5340 suite

Yes it is Carnival.

We are stopping at Grand Turk San Juan St Kitts and St Maarten

We are booked on the Eastern Caribbean Cruise in February 2017 after spending a week in Disney, We have booked on Sunshine and have a few queries on Cruising in general if anyone could please help me.

1. We know the Islands will be hot as we have visited the Caribbean many times but on board the Cruise line which we pick up in Port Canaveral will it be warm enough to swim in the pools and sunbathe, we are on the ship 2 days before arriving at our first port and then visit 4 ports then back at sea for 1 day before arriving back at Port Canaveral

2. Will it be chilly on board in the evenings/day (sorry just need to know what sort of clothing to pack)

3. We have upgraded and booked a Suite Cabin 5340 so I believe we get priority boarding. What exactly does this mean and do you have to book a slot to check in online? The check in seems quite complicated or is it easier than it seems?

4. The Ship doesn't leave the port until 4.00pm what time can we expect our luggage at our cabin?

5. Also when arriving back to Port Canaveral we do not need to get back to the airport before 4.00pm is there any thing to do close by (bearing in mind we will have 4 suitcases)

Sorry so many questions but we have never done a Cruise before and are travelling with our two children and therefore want to know as much as possible prior to boarding. We will book our trips for each island or grab a taxi independently and have looked at each port and decided what to do already

Any help for a first time cruiser will be greatly appreciated.

Apologies if all these have been asked before but I am new to this forum and the cruising and going in February 2017!

Tips - Can this be paid prior to leaving or do you have to pay this once aboard - roughly how much is this, we are 2 adults and 2 children 13 and 9 years

Drinks - is it best to buy a drinks bundle my husband likes the beer and rum I am not a drinker. Do you get any drinks included?

Luggage - once on board how long does it take to get your luggage to your Cabin

Cabin - We have Cabin 5340 Ocean Suite - anyone here stayed in here? Also is it true we get VIP boarding and disembarking

Disembarking at Ports - can you leave any time or do you have to leave at set times

We have been to the Caribbean lots but not Cruising and I am excited but worried as there seems to be lots to know prior to going

Do you have to check in online prior to departing if so do you know how long in advance you can do this

We are due to go on sunshine cruise in February 2017 combining it with a week at Disney. Of are doing the 8 night eastern Caribbean cruise.

We have visited the Caribbean lots and visited many islands so thought we would try something different.

Although the Caribbean is hot is it still hot on board or do you get a cool breeze from the sea? Would we need warmer clothes for the evening? Also we as a family like to get dressed for dinner but how dressy is it and do mean have to wear tie and jacket. Sorry if there are boring questions but we are new to all this and I always over pack and get charged extra for my luggage! Any advice would be good or where to go on this page we have booked a balcony room is there anywhere where it's best to be on the ship as my travel agent wants to know which room to go and book we are a family 2 adults 9 and 13 year old?
